Adelaide calls him, her voice filled with panic and desperation. She's on the verge of full out sobbing; "Killian please come to the bakery? There's this m-man outside---he's been sexually harassing me all day so I kicked him out but he's c-come back and he keeps making these really obscene gestures at me & he w-won't go away...I'm really scared Killian, come get me? I don't want to l-leave the shop with him out there" By the time Addie's finished talking, she's crying and shaking all over.
When Killian picked up the phone he hadn't expected Addie to seem so scared, he wasn't sure who this man was, but he had no intention of letting him get away without at least threatening him a little. "Shhh, it's alright, love, I'm on my way," he said soothingly. "Be there in just a few minutes, stay inside."
As soon as he hung up he quickly made his way to the bakery, happy that the place wasn't too far from the docks where he worked. It didn't take him any time to get to the shop and as soon as he did he could see the man standing in front of the windows, the anger suddenly building up. He didn't hesitate to pull the man away and slam him against the nearest wall, hard enough to cause his breath to leave his lungs. Without any hesitation he pulled his hook up to his throat, the mans eyes going wide.
"You are going to leave now. You are not going to come back to this bakery or anywhere near it. If you ever see my fiance on the street you are to turn away and go elsewhere. You are not to look at her, speak to her, or so much as attempt to say her name. If I ever find out that you do. . . I will not hesitate to rip your throat out with my hook. Is that understood?"
The serious dangerous edge to his tone seemed to be enough to get through to the man as he nodded frantically, Killian letting him go and the man running as fast as he could in the other direction. With that Killian walked into the shop and over to Addie, pulling her into his arms. "Shhh, it's alright, love."
