Create charming and humorous tuxedo cookies with a twist by decorating them with topless man designs. Perfect for themed parties or just to bring smiles!
Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. Black food coloring gel. White food coloring gel. Flesh-tone food coloring gel. Silver drages for buttons.
Instructions: Mix the flour and salt together in a bowl. Put away. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in another bowl until it is light and fluffy. Mix the egg and vanilla extract into the sugar and butter. Mix everything together well. Slowly add the flour mix to the wet ingredients and mix them together until the dough comes together. Split the dough into three equal parts. One part should stay the same, one should be colored black, and the last part should be colored with white and flesh-tone food coloring to make it look like skin. Put each piece in the fridge for at least an hour after wrapping it in plastic wrap. Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on baking sheets. On a floured surface, roll out the plain, black, and flesh-tone dough to about 1/4-1/5 of an inch thick. Cut the shapes out of the flesh-colored dough with a man-shaped cookie cutter that doesn't have a lid. Use a cookie cutter in the shape of a tuxedo to cut out the shapes from the black dough. Make sure you get one shape that doesn't have a shirt on it. Cut the shapes out of the plain dough with the same tuxedo-shaped cookie cutter. Carefully line up the edges of the tuxedo shapes and place them on top of the topless man shapes. Put the cookies on the baking sheets that have been prepared and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. Once the cookies are completely cool, use black food coloring to make lapels, buttons, and a bow tie out of them to look like a tuxedo. To make a shirt collar and cuffs, use white food coloring. You can make buttons out of silver drags for the tuxedo. Let the decorations and food coloring dry before you serve or package it.
