A refreshing and delightful salad that combines the crispiness of red leaf lettuce with the sweetness of apple slices, all topped with homemade Parmesan crisps for a savory crunch. The balsamic vinaigrette adds a tangy twist to this simple yet flavorful salad.
Ingredients: 1 head of red leaf lettuce. 1 apple, thinly sliced. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. Put baking paper on a baking sheet. Cut the Parmesan cheese into small rounds and place them on the parchment paper, leaving space between each round. Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake it for 5 to 7 minutes, until the cheese turns golden and crisp. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down. Tear the red leaf lettuce into small pieces after washing it. Put them in a bowl for salad. Put the apple slices that are very thin in the bowl with the lettuce. Add balsamic vinegar and olive oil to the salad. Add pepper and salt to taste. Toss the salad gently to mix all the ingredients together. Cut the Parmesan crisps into smaller pieces and sprinkle them on top of the salad to make it look nice. Serve right away and enjoy!
