Jealousy? Never Heard Of It

"Sweet Pea," Fangs announces out of the blue, "you're jealous."

Sweet Pea scoffs but does not stop staring at Archie and Moore. They're sitting a few tables down from Fangs and his own, talking excitedly and sharing Archie's bowl of fries because Moore finished his own and Archie is nothing if not eager to help. 

"No, I'm not," Sweet Pea says matter-of-factly. 

Sweet Pea doesn't get jealous, and if he did, it would not be because of a guy Archie met in juvie named Mad Dog. Which is a stupid fucking name. 

I wrote a dumb thing about Sweet Pea getting jealous of Mad Dog because he's dumb and pining for Archie. It's mostly Sweet Pea being stupid and Fangs putting up with a lot. Enjoy! (Link goes to AO3.)

Finally had a good thought - lesbians Sweet Pea and Archie

(here’s a small snippet from the Swarchie fic I’ve been writing! I took a small break bc I had a university deadline a couple days ago, but I should have it done soon!)

Archie Andrews was a mess. One, huge bisexual mess, and he was wishing he could drop dead where he stood.

Archie was confident in his sexuality, he knew he was bi. But this. This was absolutely unfair, and a personal attack.

..No he wasn't thinking about the fact that Kevin had grabbed and kissed him full on a few moments ago. That wasn't entirely unpleasant, even if it had been a littlesw hard and felt a little like a punch in the face.

Nope, his current issue was one particular Serpent.

Sweet Pea to be precise.

Sweet Pea wearing fucking eyeliner if we want to get even more precise. And holy shit if it didn't look good on him. It looked amazing.

Archie's attention for the most part was entirely on Sweet Pea throughout the performance, though occasionally being distracted by Kevin and his antics. He wasn't exactly being subtle about anything either. Archie Andrews was not someone known for his subtly.

He was especially sure he wasn't being subtle, judging by the fact that Sweet Pea had caught his eyes during the performance, and Archie had seen the smirk tug at the other teen's lip, Sweet Pea winking at him moments later.

Archie's face had lit up red quicky after, at the fact he'd been caught staring, ducking his head, finally finding the strength to pull his attention away from Sweet Pea properly - it didn't last very long though, and he went back to watching the Serpent perform. Partly also to ignore the knowing smile and look on Betty's face as she stood next to him, able to see her from the corner of his eye.

As the performance drew to an end, Archie had desperately tried to keep his eyes off of Sweet Pea for the during of the performance, obviously, to no avail, and everytime he'd looked up, Sweet Pea's eyes had been on him as well, watching him as he performed, leading Archie to become inevitably more flustered. 

He supported his friend, of course, but when Mr Honey came to break up the performance, he was almost relieved, and promptly fled from the music room as the rest of the students began to file out.

It’s 12:30am but I’m writing a fucking swarchie fic instead of sleeping.

It’s literally based around the fact that in the last episode Sweet Pea wore eyeliner in the song performance and he had nO RIGHT TO LOOK THAT GOOD

And about Archie having a bi crisis bc goddamnit he’s hot

Archie/Sweet Pea reminds me of that post about that girl who didnt know how to deal with her crush on a girl in her class and so she wrote her a note saying "get out of my school" but it could work both ways, except Archie writes it on an impulse and feels bad for weeks afterwards, and Sweet Pea completely means it until he realizes he accidentally developed feelings
