I was recently styling a fat Teen in CAS and I noticed that a few of the Teen conversions I have from you, that look totally normal at lower weights, seemed to be a little off at the heavy end of the spectrum - but I'm not sure if that's actually a 'bug' or just the way the outfits are. The files where I noticed this were: Ravena, Sagittarian Dream, Real McCoy Dress. Feel free to ignore this of course, I just thought I would mention it in case it is something in need of a fix.

Hi anon, thank you for letting me know about this! I took a look at the dresses in-game and did find some issues — Ravena has a neck gap, the other two have wonky skirt shapes, Sagittarian Dream has a wonky collar shape, McCoy has a wonky belly shape in profile view — but I'd appreciate another ask/message if there's anything I missed in these or others!

Below are the screenshots I took, at max Fat slider value (the Ravena neck gap wasn't visible). I'll likely get to fixing these next week, as this one has been very busy for me 👍

Hi :) I don't have that planned, no. I made the TS3CCC years back when I had more time to dedicate to a project of that scope. However, HornedThing made this very helpful spreadsheet for default replacements! I realize it's not the same thing as the TS3CCC, as it doesn't cover age/gender conversions, but it's something!

My pleasure (again haha)! Actually, I've been considering redoing some (if not all) of them, the placement slot for the teddy bear being outside the crib bothers me and I also want to try out rotating the sim slot so that sims' heads don't clip through the crib walls 🤔

Hi! If you're OK with completely remaking packages (the way I do), I wrote a tutorial on my converting process using Milkshape, because I do not know how to use Blender 😅: How to: convert clothing from Adult to other ages.

if you want to add morphs to existing packages without making them into separate items, using Blender, virtual-hugs has a fantastic tutorial: Maternity Morphs & Bone Deltas Tutorial + Resources.

And there is DreadPirateVinna's tutorial here, also using Milkshape: Adding morphs to store clothing for The Sims 3.

I recommend both these tutorials, since mine doesn't have a section on BoneDeltas because I didn't know about those when I wrote it, and when I last updated it 🙃 And I think both of these tutorials explain that much better than I ever could!

Cowplantcartel was kind enough to release this tool to the public, which I used to make the themes — anyone can make them now (that's the point of making the tool public!), it's no more complicated than using any website or software that gives you colors in HEX format (I like to use Photoshop and Coolors, but there are many other options out there). If you want to fine-tune some specific parts that aren't covered by this tool, you can follow the guide I put out (at least the parts I was able to identify!).

You can be that someone who "finally" puts out the content you wish to see — unlike meshing or coding or other complex matters, it's not even difficult: it's just copy/pasting some color codes in an interface. Someone else already did the difficult part so that you wouldn't have to.

Conveniently, I saw this theme by marinaan on my dash a few hours ago, if this is what you're looking for.

Hi, thank you for converting the Diesel stuff jeans for elder men. Have you considered making age conversions from this pack for elder ladies as well? There’s a really lovely dress with a jacket that would look fabulous on older female sims.

hi ! have a problem, how do make that the clothes of explorers from "World Adventures" and sets like "Quantum Power Suit", "The Party Pack Bundle" are not randomized for the NPC and townies ?

Hi! It's pretty easy, all you have to do is set the ValidForRandom flag to False in the CASP resource. This will mean that when the game rolls a new outfit for a sim, items not flagged as ValidForRandom won't be taken into consideration.

You may need: S3PE, S3OC, Multi Extracter.

Here are some guides to help:

I. How to Convert Sims3Packs to Packages - if your files are in .sims3pack format, you will need to convert them to .packages first.

How to Change Categories for CAS Items - once you're done converting, the field you want to expand is ClothingCategory, as seen below:

II. How to Clone with S3OC - if you want to edit items that come with the basegame, EPs or SPs (like the WA outfits), you will need to clone them first. For clothing, go to Cloning \ CAS Part and select whatever item you want. Since you want default replacements, you will need to untick the "Renumber/rename internally" option. You can change its flags on the right, before clicking Commit.

After you're done cloning an item, you can open the new .package in S3PE and extract only the CASP resource since you won't need anything else. Right-click the CASP resource -> Export -> To package..., and give this .package a name. If you have multiple CAS items you want to edit, you can put all their CASPs in one single .package.

If you want to be able to quickly identify what your items are when you open up this .package (e.g., maybe you want to change more categories in the future), you can also export the THUM resources (in-game thumbnail) along with the CASP ones.
