Same with my moms cancer docs and stuff. The nice thing with mRNA vacs is that they probably won’t cause an adverse reaction in those who have RA or other immune system disorders, which is GREAT!
The bad thing is, we don’t know if it’ll be effective though. And that’s the rub... there’s just no study on that, there’s almost 0 data... except that we’re finding that those who are being infected in places like Israel and other places, who have had the 2nd dose, and what not... the rare few who still get covid and what not... seem to have some immune issue or past history of immunosuppression, which means that while the vaccine is safe, it may not make you safe kind of thing.
So still get it, for sure, but definitely still be very careful and act like you don’t have it.

Side note, my docs are still acting weird... they’re saying get it... but maybe..... don’t be in a hurry to get it... because with my IIH, the side effects from the second shot could be hell on earth and be disastrous. It does lead to really bad headaches, it does lead to a mild increase in pressure in the brain in some people, and other neuro effects... but because there’s almost no men with IIH, there’s no real way to know how this will effect me and I’m already right on the edge of pressure and losing my eye sight and don’t have any wiggle room to spare.

Yep! I was reading that and damn... it’s the whole thing about how if we can keep the virus out of people and from spreading, we can stop this... but if with it running free like this, and able to get into people with systems that are compromised, it’s just going to keep getting worse and worse. That whole Scott Atlas/Trump “herd immunity” thing was the stupidest fucking thing ever because that never worked against ANY fucking virus ever.... how’d that work for polio, or aids, or the common fucking flu??? If this virus kills the economy... build an economy that works with the new normal.... economies are not real... they’re whatever we want them to be!
Also... eat the rich and take care of humanity.
