A festive Christmas Trifle Parfait combining the flavors of gingerbread, cranberry, and candy canes, layered with creamy vanilla custard and whipped cream.
Ingredients: 1 cup crushed candy canes. 2 cups gingerbread cake, crumbled. 1 cup cranberry sauce. 2 cups vanilla custard. 2 cups whipped cream. 1/2 cup chocolate shavings.
Instructions: Crushed candy canes should be put at the bottom of serving glasses. On top of the candy canes, put a layer of broken up gingerbread cake. Put some cranberry sauce on top of the gingerbread cake. On top of the first layer, pour vanilla custard. Add a thick layer of whipped cream on top. Do this again and again until the glass is full. Add some chocolate shavings to the top to finish. Put the parfaits in the fridge for at least two hours before you serve them.
