two mermay paintings, done in a mix of ink and pencil. The left one is just a serpentine mermaid I came up with on a whim, the one on the right is based on the mermaids from the 2003 live action Peter Pan. I always loved those mermaids, and spent ages obsessively watching the DVD extras, sketching out all the details in the tail design, finding random behind the scenes shots online... yeah, they’re pretty cool. It’s just a shame that they were in the film for so short a time, and the designs were so indistinct.
