Macaron - What is your favorite dessert?

Oh dear, I’m tempted to say ‘anything sweet’ but I think that’s not true anymore! I do love skilled baked goods, all the textures and tastes and little flourishes. These days I’ve perhaps gone a little mad myself however: I really love a good fruit salad with ripe fruit, some cream or condensed milk when my sweet-tooth is as its worst.

I do admit a certain weakness for macarons themselves.

“The kind that have crunchy edges and soft middles, obviously!”

“No, I’m just trying to annoy you. I like soft cookies.”

“Carrot cake! You shouldn’t put vegetables in dessert. Especially not carrots.”

“Probably smores. I don’t like marshmallows because they’re too sweet for me.”

16. how does sugar affect them? do they ‘sugar-rush’ and then ‘crash’ after?

“Sugar doesn’t really affect me much. It would probably be the same for Riley if she didn’t eat so much of it. She’d probably eat a whole gallon of ice cream in ten minutes if I let her.”

“Give me cake or give me death.”

“I like macarons. Especially ones with flavors that don’t taste like they’re rotting my teeth as I eat them.”

2. strawberry, vanilla, or chocolate milkshakes? why or why not?

“Hmmm... If I absolutely have to choose, probably chocolate. Even though I end up having to chug a bottle of water afterwards because they’re so rich.”

“Probably vanilla. Chocolate milkshakes are too rich, and I don’t like strawberry ice cream because I don’t like dried fruit.”

13. cookies or brownies? why or why not?

“Brownies! I just really like chocolate.”

“Probably cookies, since it’s easier to make them less sweet.”

The swinger grinned wide as they took the cones. “My stars, how kind of ya to give a fella and a little one somethin’ sweet to eat!” they exclaimed, handing Alaina a cone. The child’s eyes went wide as she took the cone in her hands, and a huge smile appeared on her face. “Ice cweam! Dank you!”‘Jack’ grinned from ear to ear as Alaina started licking the frozen treat. “I must say, I think seein’ my kid smile like that’s a sweeter treat!”

Warm Drink: I’d have to say Earl Gray tea with little milk, my boyfriend introduce me to it. Or Hot chocolate - w - so good with a little nilla and marshmallows. Too bad it’s too hot now to have some ; ~ ;

Cold Drink: Definitely strawberry lemonade! D: I love it!!

Cold Drink: Umm...I must admit Strawberry lemonade myself too. But I do like fresh strawberry smoothies too.
