Chin Ho Kelly x Reader
“I can’t believe I let you talk me into this, Cat.” Y/N muttered into her ear piece as she stepped out of the town car that was sent for her.
There was a chuckle on the other end of the ear piece, “You are going to have fun, Y/N. Chin Ho is waiting for you just inside the entrance.”
Y/N hummed in acknowledgement as she walked through the fancy dressed crowd. She didn’t want to say anything in response, because there were little henchmen walking around. She smiled softly at the henchmen that held the door for her, fluttering her eyes at him. She noticed a soft blush form on the apples of his cheeks– which made her grin. She had taken four steps into the ritzy party hall before a gentleman stepped up to her side.
“Hello, I am Chin Ho Kelly.” He whispered, interlocking their arms.
Y/N smiled up at him, “Nice to meet you, Chin Ho. I am Y/N Y/L/N.” They walked through the crowd towards the open bar. “I think I am gonna need a drink.” She joked.
He grinned, “I don’t think one would hurt.” He led them to the bar, using his manners to push them through the people crowding the bar. “Two glasses of champagne.”
The bartender nodded quietly, practically jumping into action to get their drinks. Chin Ho handed him a $20 tip as he took the glasses, causing the bartender to smile. Y/N mouthed thank you to him as she took the glass from Chin Ho.
He led her to an empty corner that gave them the perfect view of the whole room. “So, how do you know Catherine?” He asks, taking a sip of his drink.
“The military. I was a translator/combat specialist.” Y/N shared, as she too took a drink. She scanned the room, quickly finding their target.
Chin looked her up and down, silently wondering how she could be a combat specialist. “How?” He trailed off.
She grinned, giving him the side eye. “I was raised in a Boxing/UFC Gym in Boston.” She downed the rest of the champagne, dropping the glass on the tray of a passing waiter. “I think I want to dance, my darling.” She took his hand and pulled him towards the dance floor.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, feeling a spark as he pulled her closer. “So, why are we dancing?”
She laid her head on his shoulder and whispered, “Our subject just pulled his wife onto the dance floor, which means we can get close to them and slip the bug into his pocket.”
He leaned down and pressed his lips against her cheek. “That is a smart idea.”
They pulled away and got into a Waltz position. The music changed as they moved through the other couples, towards the hosts of the event. The MVP’s of this event were at the center of the party, letting everyone know how important they are. As Chin and Y/N got closer, Y/N started acting giggly and clumsy.
Chin squeezed her hand twice to tell her they were close. Y/N nodded softly, pretending to trip backwards onto their subject.
Y/N gasped dramatically, “I am so sorry.” She began to panic as she noticed who she bumped into. “Mr.Cash, I am so sorry. I think I may have a little too much to drink.” She reached to help him steady him, slipping the bug under the collar of his shirt.
He brushed her away, “It is alright, Ms…?” He started as he moved to check on his wife.
“Mrs. Hartwell, sir. I work in accounting.” She responded, trying to sound mousy. “Again, I apologize for bumping into you.”
He nodded absentmindedly. “It is alright, Mrs. Hartwell. Though, I think that you should lay off the alcohol for the rest of the event.”
He didn’t wait for another response from her to walk away. Y/N turned to Chin, who was trying to remain serious, and smiled. She locked her arm with his and walked them outside. As they stepped through the door, the same town car that dropped her off pulled up. Ever the gentleman, Chin Ho opened the door for her and let her slide into the car before getting in himself.
The driver turned around, “good work you too.”
Chin chuckled, “had an amazing partner, boss.” He nudged her arm, which made her smile.
“Not too bad yourself, Mr. Kelly.” She nudged him back.
~Back at the Office~
Steve held open the door for Y/N and Chin Ho. Danny, Kono, and Catherine were standing around the computer table. “Cat, you and I are going to have words..” Y/N joked as she removed her heels and tossed them at her friend.
Catherine moved out of the way with a laugh. “I am sorry, girl. There is a change of clothes in Chin’s office for both of you.”
Chin led her to his office, again holding the door open for her. There was a set of clothes for them both sitting on his desk. “I can step out, so that you can have some privacy…” There was some blush to his cheeks, which made Y/N’s heart melt.
She shook her head, “no, you are fine. I rarely had privacy in the military, especially when I was stationed overseas.” She gathered her hair and turned her back to him, “plus I need help undoing my dress.”
Chin gulped, slowly unzipping the dress. At one point, he had to use both hands because the dress got stuck in the zipper. Y/N shivered as his hand brushed against her back, which seemed to awaken something inside him. “You seem a bit ticklish.” He whispered, pressing his body against hers.
“Maybe I am, maybe I’m not.” She responded, her voice quivering. It took her another moment before she pulled away from him. “You will just have to find out.”
Chin froze at her comment, not completely comprehending what she said. He stood there as she dropped her dress, remaining facing away from him. She was wearing a thong that made her ass look full and plump, causing Chin to shift awkwardly towards his own pile of clothes.
Y/N smiled to herself as she slipped on the clothes that Cat had picked out for her, she could feel Chin’s eyes on her butt. As she stepped into her shoes, she said, “I look forward to getting to know you better, Mr. Kelly.”
She didn’t wait for him to reply as she felt a little embarrassed. She had never been so forward with a man, but something about Chin made her feel confident. Cat elbowed her as she took her spot at the computer, Y/N ignored her. As Chin stepped up to stand next to Danny, Steve unmuted the live feed from the bug that Y/N had planted.
Mr. Cash was telling his wife that he had to meet with an investor, but he would be back soon. As he walked away from his wife, Mr.Cash called out for his bodyguard to follow him. Once he was in the safety of an office, Mr. Cash began talking to a man about the murder that Five-O was investigating. Well, that was easier than I thought. Y/N thought.
~Next Day~
Though Y/N was a part of the undercover part of the investigation, she opted out of taking part of the take down. She decided to stay at the palace and go through the rest of the recordings. At some point during the meeting, Mr. Cash and mystery man had switched to speaking Russian. Y/N took it upon herself to translate that part of the tapes, which led her to the realization that Mr. Cash had another murder planned.. The murder of his wife.
Y/N tried to call the team, but no one was picking up. Not wanting to let someone die, Y/N tracked Mrs. Cash’s phone and sent the link to her phone. She left Chin and Catherine a voicemail, telling them what she found and where she was going. She sped through traffic, racing towards the Cash home.
By the time she got there, whoever Mr. Cash hired was already there. Y/N hadn’t thought to bring her gun, so she was going to have to wing it. She grabbed her softball bat from her trunk and raced inside. She heard something shatter on the second floor, so that is where she headed. The master bedroom doors were wide open, allowing Y/N to see the mess from a struggle. She tiptoed her way into the room, trying not to alert anyone of her presents.
The hired killer was on top of Mrs. Cash with his hands wrapped around her neck. Mrs. Cash was kicking and moving around, trying to get him to let go. Y/N came up behind them and smacked the man upside the head. The man fell forward, releasing his hold on Mrs.Cash- who screamed as she tried to push him off. Y/N grabbed ahold of his collar and yanked him off of her.
After clearing his head, he swung his elbow back at her– hitting her in the face. She grunted, grabbing onto his elbow and wrapping one leg around it. With his arm strained behind his back, Y/N leaned back to dislocate his shoulder. He screamed and tried to roll over, which caused her to press more weight on him.
“Stop moving!” She shouted, struggling to keep her hold on him.
“Fuck you!” He bucked, causing her to fall backwards. He forced himself onto his back, kicking her in the chest.
Y/N fell back with a grunt, her head smacking against the floor. She hissed, feeling the world spin a little. The assassin lunged at her, ready to choke the life out of her. She used both legs to keep him away, kicking him in the chest. He grabbed one of her legs, using it to pull her closer to him. Y/N flung her leg around his head, squeezing as she forced him to the ground. She punched him in the face, breaking his nose.
He tried to fight her, but she just squeezed harder. She hit him one final time, knocking him unconscious.
“Y/N!” Catherine yelled as she entered the master bedroom.
Y/N fell onto her back, breathing heavily. “I’m okay… him not so much.” She pushed his limp body away, so that she could get up. “Did Mrs.Cash get out?”
Catherine squatted down next to her, a proud smirk on her face. “Yeah, she is down with EMTs. I think you might need to get checked out too.”
Y/N chuckled, wiping the blood gushing from her nose. “I think I will be fine.”
Catherine passed off the assassin to HPD in favor of walking Y/N downstairs. Chin Ho was pacing the sidewalk just outside of the Cash residence. He jumped at her, wrapping Y/N in his arms. “I was so worried about you..” He coughed, “you shouldn’t have gone in alone.”
She shook her head at him, a wide grin gracing her face. “I am fine.”
Steve and Danny walked out of the house, towards the rest of the team. “I think Y/N might need to join the team.” Steve stated.
Y/N shook her head, “No, I like being in retirement too much.” The team booed.. “But I think I could be talked into a paid consultant position though.”
