Why? Jk hated himself. Why did he have to like him? Why did he have to like Mr. Football captain? Not only was that guy definitely straight, if it wasn’t for Gentarou he wouldn’t even pay him the time of day. Even though Miu had turned Shun down over and over again, he knew the guy had the hots for her and only her.

“Jk?” Shun asked waving a hand in front of his face. “Are you okay?”
“Ah yeah, I’m fine. Just trying to find out how to ask Prince Charming to the ball.” Jk sighed before he realized who’s hand was in front of him. “I-Hi Shun. Ignore that!” He smiled nervously.
“…Who do you like?” Shun couldn’t help the smile on his face as he sat down next to him. Was it that guitar kid JK hangs around sometimes? Maybe it was Gentarou even. Though, he couldn’t help him with that one. “Whoever it is, I’m sure I can help! After all what are friends for?”
“…” A frown found itself on his face. Friends. Dammit. He was so happy they were friends but. “I already lost. Besides, you’d never like me so—“
“…Me?” Shun pointed to himself. “I….never thought about that but…” He scratched his cheek. “We could try a dinner date or something?” Shun had never considering going out with a guy, but then again, if he’d learned anything it was that you should always be willing to try. Besides, JK was a pretty great guy.
