(a little note I now add to every reply: it’s important that you know that there are French people out there who feel that the protesters are the problem, that they are endangering the population and the police is only doing its job by hurting us. it’s their right to think so, and I believe you all have the right to hear both sides of the story. so this is just to inform you that my post is biased because I am firmly on the side of the protesters, and there will probably be people out there who aren’t. nothing I can do about it, and we all have the right to speak our minds.)

@sweetvantass, son-in-law, and two of my four grandbabies came to visit yesterday. Imagine the cutest two year old and six year old. Cuter. Come on, cuter. Okay, you're close, but they're way cuter. It's been five months since I saw them last, so it was great to see them. They've grown so much.

I was unaware the rules of the Life board game had changed so much in recent times. Apparently, our older version was preferable to the new one. It was fun playing with them, though. I barely ever got a payday, so buying stocks was lucrative. lol

Ambrosia reminds me of her grandmother every time I see her.

I am trying to crochet, but our foster cat, Ashley insists on staying under the blanket in my lap. (She's @sweetvantass's cat).

She's been skittish for the month+ that she's been here, so this is great progress for her.

Now if only she and Percy would stop trying to kill each other, she could have free reign of the house as our other cats do.

When she's not in our room, Percy is to prevent them from fighting. It's slow, but we've seen some progress.
