Dead Finks are a Berlin, Germany (by way of Australia by way of New Zealand) band and "New Plastik Abyss" is their new LP due for release on Bretford in late March. "Anodyne" recalls Hüsker Dü (really reminds me of a Grant Hart song).

Earlier releases bring to mind Sonic Youth, and Swell Maps. The Bandcamp write ups for earlier releases also mention Wire, Parquet Courts and the "Dunedin" sound. Joseph Thomas had previously been in Auckland based group Trust Punks.
