I haven’t posted in so long but I’m back, so we all know the lover era was Taylor’s failed coming out due to falling out\breaking up with Karlie and the scooter Braun situation, I believe and I know many other people do to that the miss Americana documentary was supposed to be something else the title was originally is it cool I said all that which alludes to Taylor coming out or saying something controversial and there was apparently 40 minutes of footage that had to be cut. So the original plan had to be scrapped and they made the documentary into Taylor essentially being a really bad activist and it basically had no plot. I believe this is referenced in the song anti hero and its music video.
So firstly you’ve got the arrow to the heart with lavender glitter coming out then her plastering a vote for me sticker over it referencing the quick last minute change that had to be made to the documentary. Then in the lyrics to anti hero it says did you hear my cover narcissism, her speaking out about issues such as lgbtq rights and artists rights that only apply to her and she has a tendency to only speak on political issues if they concern or directly affect her life. Then I disguise as altruism like some kind of congressman again referencing the documentary and lover era.
