Yuliya Efimova, a polarizing figure in world swimming after being at the center of doping controversies, completed a European Championship breaststroke double when adding the 200 meters title to her 100m gold
So ridickkkkk
Understandably, the 400,000₩ "insurance" that i got from Ku was all used up, so i cranked out 80k for a blood test and another 140k or so today to pay for my eye doctor, rheumatology appointment and prescriptions PLUS A FREAKING STUPID 10,000₩ FEE FOR A PIECE OF PAPER THAT SAYS "she has sjogren's and has to get regular checkups and had an appointment today at 11:00am" 10 freaking bucks for a doctor's note. Now i emailed all my professors and they know about my condition, but they still require doctors notes in order to verify the absences. Like i guess they have to submit proof but some profs were like "don't worry about it i can take care of it" but no not this one. I cannot control the appointment times, and cant keep missing the same classes either because even if I'm excused i STILL MISS THE CLASS and miss out on class material and lectures on top of the days when i'm just dead and need to stay home. Now granted, i've been stable for a while now and i'm happy about it. But i wonder if there is a way i can get around this since it's going to happen for the rest of my academic career...and god forbid i get sick again, well.... So after my appointments i went swimming and just let the chlorine flush out all my stress about this crap. I got exams to study for and a head to keep on straight. Seriously, although i enjoy running occasionally and yoga, i think i've found my niche in swimming and i hope i can better. I just love how i can just tune everything out. No music. No people. No thoughts. All i have to do is focus on my stroke form and breathing. I feel so great afterwards too cause adrenaline and all that from exercise but also i think i just get so much more oxygen to my head. Fuck Lupus. I'm a beast.
Went for an early morning swim, had an amazing blueberry protein smoothie, then hit the gym. Now making beetroot chips mmm
