The hard work these swimmers put on everyday in the pool has paid off. They will be heading to their respective Championships this weekend and next. They will be representing Western North Carolina along some of the fastest swimmers in the state!!!! Swim USA 2011.

Once a year we get together with the lovely Sandra D. and a handful of awesome models and we shoot the entire line of swimwear for Mainstream / Swim USA, which consists of 5 different brands of great swimsuits. Sandra is such a wonderful client to work with and all I can say is that we really have a lot of fun. This year involved 8 days straight of shooting a mix of location and studio work and we really put in some long days and hard work to get everything finished up. Here are 3 of our favorite images!

A big part of making every image look good is the crew behind the scenes. We are lucky enough to have a wonderful crew of people doing hair & make-up, assistants that really make it happen and producers & directors that provide crucial insight into the overall look and feel of what we’re shooting. For this shoot specifically, we couldn’t have been luckier with our crew and they really deserve a shout out and high five for all of their hard work:

• Stephanie & Christian doing hair, makeup and styling

• Jeff & Paul shooting video

• Kathleen producing

• Sandra & Katie for running the whole show.

Although we were tired at the end of those 8 days, our client was happy and every last ounce of effort and care we put into the job was absolutely worth it. Being able to work hard and see the results of your labors is such a great feeling and we’re so stoked on what we do. Check the link below for some final behind the scenes shots of our group!

That’s all for now! We’re currently planning and packing for the next few weeks and we have a LOT coming up. We’re going to be shooting with Izod in the desert, the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders in the Dominican Republic and then with San Mar in Seattle. Woo!
