ROBERT PATTINSON as BATMAN:
The Day Gotham Heard a Heartbeat That Wasn’t Alive”
Gotham is used to fear.
Gunshots in alleyways. Screams echoing off wet pavement. The Bat watching from above.
But this?
This was… different.
It started at exactly 3:17 AM.
Every single monitor in the Batcave flickered at once.
A pulse appeared on the screens.
Not a signal. Not a hack.
A heartbeat.
Slow.
Heavy.
Wrong.
BA-DUM… BA-DUM…
“That's not biological,” Tim Drake muttered, fingers flying across the keyboard. “It’s reading like—”
“—a dimensional echo,” Bruce Wayne finished, already suited up.
Across the city, every shadow stretched just a little too far.
Every ghost story Gotham had ever whispered… suddenly felt real.
Meanwhile — Somewhere Not Meant to Exist
A boy stood in the middle of nothing.
White hair. Green eyes glowing like dying stars.
Danny Fenton didn’t remember opening the portal.
Didn’t remember crossing over.
But he did remember the crown.
Heavy.
Cold.
Hungry.
And the voice—
“A King cannot ignore a city that feeds on fear.”
Danny clenched his fists.
“I’m not your king.”
The void laughed.
Back in Gotham
Jason Todd was the first to see him.
A flicker on a rooftop.
A silhouette that didn’t match the light.
“Hey!” Jason called out, gun raised. “You lost, Casper?”
The figure turned.
Eyes glowing.
Not angry.
Not hostile.
Just… tired.
“I think,” Danny said softly, voice echoing like it didn’t belong to this world—
“your city is leaking.”
Then Everything Went Wrong
The Narrows erupted.
Not with crime.
With ghosts.
Hundreds.
No—thousands.
Spilling out of thin air like Gotham had finally cracked open.
Even Batman froze for half a second.
That’s all it took.
The boy in white floated above the chaos.
Crown forming slowly above his head.
Eyes burning brighter.
And when he spoke—
The ghosts stopped.
The city went silent.
“Kneel.”
The Batfamily Realizes Too Late
This wasn’t an invader.
This wasn’t a metahuman.
This wasn’t even alive.
Tim whispered, almost in awe—
“Bruce… that’s not a threat.”
A pause.
“…That’s a ruler.”
Final Line (Hook)
And somewhere deep in Gotham’s bones—
Something ancient answered him.

Hello, I did a fun variant for Cheetah & Cheshire Rob the Justice League #6 🐯
Hiding at the Gotham Museum Gala version 2 fanart - Well, I really like the composition of this piece and I would have been sorry if it had been left out of the collection here so I made this version.
RIP to Jayna and Zan but Dick and Donna will always be the true DC Wonder Twins

Superbat Chemistry
When people talk about “chemistry” between fictional characters, they usually mean that electric quality that makes interactions feel alive, charged, and meaningful—something beyond what’s written on the page or shown on screen. It’s that spark you can’t ignore, the kind that makes you think, oh, these two were made to collide.
Chemistry isn’t always about romance. Sometimes it’s about conflict, tension, or even pure companionship. What makes it fascinating is how it balances contrast and complement—two people who seem to clash, yet somehow reveal hidden parts of each other just by existing in the same space.
And that’s exactly why Superbat works so powerfully. Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent embody two poles of an axis: night and day, cynicism and optimism, mortal fragility and godlike strength. On paper, they shouldn’t get along. Bruce distrusts the unchecked, Clark distrusts the uncompassionate. But when you watch them interact, there’s an undeniable gravitational pull.
Clark softens Bruce. His compassion and unshakable hope remind Batman that the world isn’t just corruption and tragedy. He doesn’t let Bruce lose himself completely in the shadows. Meanwhile, Bruce sharpens Clark. He challenges him, grounds him, forces him to see that power without restraint can be as dangerous as the villains they fight.
It’s in this tension—the push and pull between restraint and freedom, skepticism and belief—that their chemistry is born. They constantly test each other, but they also complete each other. That duality is the reason they can be read as best friends, as friendly rivals (since both would put humanity before their desires and, without a doubt, the other is a good for humanity), or as something infinitely more intimate.
Superbat isn’t just two heroes working together. It’s an eternal dialogue between light and dark, humanity and divinity, trust and fear. And whether you ship them romantically or just appreciate the sheer dynamic energy they bring to every panel, scene, or adaptation—they are proof of what makes chemistry unforgettable.
[Since this got more than the 5 interactions I expected, here's the link to my superbat fanfic haha]
