May beamed at James, hiding a light blush against her cheeks by dipping her chin. “Of course I’ll be your valentine!” she agreed, pulling a card and a box of chocolates for James from inside her satchel. “Would you be mine, too?”

           “ You’re quite interesting, ”   He says quietly.   He’s next to the computer James is currently on, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.   “ I’ve been watching you for some time. ”

            Cian pushes himself away from the wall and takes the liberty of reaching across James to turn the monitor off.   “ Don’t you agree it’s high time we meet? ”

          “ You’re that hero,  aren’t you? ”   He’s hovering nearby,  eyes tracking Jackie’s every move. There’s no smile on his face,  nor is there a frown.   “ I keep hearing about you,  but I don’t know anything about you. ”   He moves closer,  even going as far as to grab at Jackie’s shoulder and pull Jackie closer to him.   “ Hey, do me a favor,  will you? ”   He leans closer, staring at Jackie intently,  with his eyes flashing between blue and black rapidly.   “ Look at me when I’m talking to you.   It’s rude to keep your back to me. ”

           “ I don’t know how you’re doin’ it Jackie,  but I’m so proud of you!   Keep up all th’ good work! ” Jack is also giving Jackie a thumbs up and a bright grin.   He looks so proud of his boy!

Damien shook his head a bit “me- no. Not really any danger” he shrugged a bit.

She’d been practising spells all afternoon, so much so that she seemed to forget how to string coherent sentences together. May covered her face with her hair, feeling her face heat up in embarrassment. “I think-” She peeked out. “That is...what I was trying to say is...all of my problems seem to go away when I look in your eyes. But, I kinda failed and, umm...I’m sorry.” She looked at her feet.

            “ Jack? No, not Jack. ”   He looks different, Mark can’t quite put his finger on it.   “ ...Anti. ” Nope,  wrong again.
