Lucky: On most days he's in a daze and if he has to be anywhere longer for what he had planned he becomes a bit more harsh and violent... they are keeping him away from his love afterall. He will also find it hard to lie to them and if cornered by his soulmate on something HE KNOWS HE CAN'T. So his soulmate needs to get used to the fact that Lucky feels at ease at being his true self around them... whether he likes it or not... he does become this gooey cute goofball around them and shocks even himself. His soulmate will soon realize that underneath all that foul mouthed perverted smartass and fake/real cuteness... he's a hopeless romantic at heart and he only has eyes for them. His soulmate will find exactly how honest and loyal he is and will find themselves happy to be the center of his universe. To the unknowing soulmate...PREPARE TO BE ROMANCED. Jealous? EXTREMELY Over protective? YES but his soulmate will never know the true lengths he will go and with his rank and abilities everyone is to afraid to even test to find out how far that is. When he's jealous he pouts but he'll never hurt his soulmate. Strike: Is actually an honest skeleton by nature... someone has to be. So while Lucky is being his boisterous self whether it be fake cute or killing someone from a rival territory for sport... He's just the stoic investigating lie detector that everyone misinterprets as being the boss. Now he has a soulmate and he gets distracted. Normally he would never lose his focus and if anything he is a well of information that he will not reveal any of unless motivated. He finds himself spilling tidbits of information (Whether true or false is up to whomever he speaks to) just to be able to get home faster. If Lucky doesn't have someone you can best be assured that Strike will get a talking to. However even his brother seems to see the gleam in his sockets and just the excitement he exudes from his soul to see his soulmate. He's a shy flirt because of dealing with Lucky has made him a little to shy to be that forward. He also doesn't want to intimidate or overwhelm his sweet honeybun so he gets them small things. Maybe a single red rose when he comes back to them at the end of each day. Or pickup some dinner for a quiet evening. He values their honest opinions as he loves honesty... it's a bit of a turn on for him. Just know he isn't going to be an all out affair like his brother as he likes and values the small things... Once he's able to get out an 'I love you' be prepared to be his squishy human that he enjoys sleeping, cuddling, and just being apart of your life. Over protective? No. Not to say he won't defend his soulmate should it ever come to that but he has a healthy way of communicating with them to know where they are going and if they are safe. Jealous? He can be... though he can tell you aren't trying to be a flirt, he does kiss his soulmate in public to let everyone know that they're his. If they are too forward in their pursuit of his soulmate instead then they will get a taste of what it's like to upset one of the skeleton brothers. Sugar Daddy? No. Not to say he won't gift his soulmate things but he prefers presence over objects. Spoken love and treasured memories of your time together over material things.
Swisher: Unlike Edge who can be loud and abrasive. He is very stoic in demeanor as he's on constant vigilance. If dealing with his brother in a far more relaxed environment then he will get the usual Papyrus tone if Sweets annoys him. Having a soulmate makes his soul do flips just thinking about them. A powerful yearning and such a warm peaceful feeling. However as much as he feels like a lovestruck idiot he doesn't physically show it. His face never really changing from that grim stoic expression. He might actually startle his soulmate and have them not knowing what to say after their first encounter. He asks them for their favour. Which one would think he's asking for a favor but no he's asking them for memento of this encounter. His voice harsh and that stony expression isn't as delicate as he tries to make it and he may end up scaring them off. First and foremost a gentleman he will try his best woo and court them traditionally speaking. Best for his soulmate to understand that he doesn't get that there are times in which it is socially acceptable to receive his attention... like him sending a frightened mail carrier to you with chocolates at 2am... Of course they might find it endearing that they were his first thought when he woke up that early... so he called in a favor. Once his soulmate has been wooed... He tells them he loves them every morning and every night despite his quiet nature. He blushes more around them and is very proud to escort them anywhere they might want to go... so long as they take his arm with theirs... he loves the proximity. He will still give them awkwardly timed gifts but that just means the big dope loves them and thinks of them constantly. Over protective? just protective but in certain situations it could be labeled as over protective. Jealous? You would not believe that your sweet stoic giant of ever being jelly. He is INSANELY jelly. He knows he doesn't communicate as well as he would like to and he does calm down somewhat after he and his soulmate are official. Sugar Daddy? Yes. You are his everything and he will get you anything, especially if you show off exactly how good he is to you.
Sweets: Has a big mouth on him. He's lewd and crude but not as bad as Lucky at least. He doesn't really like the thought of being in a relationship at first. He preferred his company to many in one night to the disgust of his brother. HOWEVER. Enter his soulmate and boom. No one exists but you... even he doesn't feel like he exists but to watch their every move. Swisher has had to nearly beat him out of his trance often. Especially when he sees something that instantly reminds him of his soul's desire and he spaces out in the middle of a job. Much of his share of the profit goes into a little love nest that only the two of you have access to. It's a grand gesture of his love as the interior is filled with pillows and blankets so he can get them comfortable wherever they may want to "cuddle." He is also a sugar daddy. Anything his soulmate desires he will make sure they have it or nearly dust trying to. Proud of his soulmate and will not mind showing them off as his one and only from now on every now and then. Over Protective? Yes. He's made quite the name for himself and he doesn't want his soulmate to get any backlash from it. Jealous? YES. He's made that love nest for you and only you and if you would like to stay there and be safe he'd encourage it. He likes knowing he has you and showing you off but when eyes wander... He's killed for less.
Black: Was usually to busy to even think of having a datem
ate let alone a good romp... (even though Mild pleaded with him at times to do it as he thought it would help his stress and from Black constantly making him work.) Don't get him wrong though, he didn't used to be the prude he is now... when he was younger he was after a good time. Now the responsibility of being in charge weighs heavily on him and he over organizes everything. Being prepared for anything and everything... except a soulmate. He tries to deny his souls calling to them... but he's swept away by it. They make him unable to think of what he needs to be doing at that current moment... other than them... It's been awhile and now he has someone so captivating its hard for him to focus. As he's internally arguing with himself that he has a job to do his soulmate will always do something he finds adorable without intentionally doing so... Stars help him if they do anything he finds sexy... his mind wouldn't recover as fast as he needs it to. He's a gentleman to his soulmate and a rather dashing datemate. He's prompt when he decides to court but even his soulmate is aware that he's been planning their future. He's thinking of an elaborate wedding, honeymoon, and of course children if his soulmate is willing (Hits him right in the breeding kink.) He wants a perfect place to raise a family and will always be up for his soulmates input. Also he's a MAJOR sugar daddy. Even before he comes to terms he can't deny his soulmate... His soulmate will be gifted many very fine and expensive gifts. His rationality at first is if he gives them what they need or want he won't encounter them again... when secretly his soul is like "yeah, tell yourself that. Anything you wanna hear bub." Not that he's secretly swooning when ever they call or send a message to thank him. His lordship always provides. Over Protective? Good Stars Above YES but to a certain point he knows when not to argue with his soulmate... doesn't mean he he hasn't tailed or made sure someone was constantly nearby to make sure they are okay... with or without them knowing. Jealous? YES. He says he's not but when they glance at someone else other than him he feels a burn in his bones that he can't dismiss as easily as he thought. IF ANYONE DARES TO FLIRT WITH HIS SOULMATE, even before he decides pursue them, THEY WILL DISAPPEAR.
Mild: Awkward bean. Only really knows how to follow orders in the business. His brother plans everything to the slightest detail to elaborate escape plans in case it should fail. He's just kind of fallen back and let his brother take the reigns. He knows he's in good hands with his brother. Though his brother is a work a holic and it drives him crazy sometimes... he doesn't get much sleep because of his brother but he does also have some bad habits of staying up drinking... so when he firsts meets his soulmate... he assumes he's dreaming. When he realizes he isn't... he panics. This is something he has to do on his own... not something his brother could do for him (Although Black would if asked. Though that would be awkward.) He's been a big flirt and is a big hit in most of the red light districts... but there's no bonding with that... just a little bit of fun with no strings attached. This is forever. He keeps his distance until he's certain that his soulmate is something he does indeed want to pursue and it won't cause any harm to the business. Prepare yourself for a clueless smooth flirt that then awkwardly gets embarrassed when he feels he's gone to far... then tries to hide his face of shame later when he thinks no one is around. He's so used to being overly sexual in his flirtation that he doesn't know half of what he says until he says it and even he can see his brother cringing and face palming. Once things settle... he is still going to be awkward as all hell but he lives for his soulmate. It becomes very evident as he tries to come out of his shell a bit and fight against his brothers scheduling to be with them. So Black will have to plan around his brothers alone time with his soulmate or he's going to be in for a bad time. Big cuddle boy and that's the best part of it to him. He finally has someone to hold and trust with all his soul. Over protective? Yes. He doesn't show it but he's always vigilant to make sure his soulmate is safe. He also words things differently to make them avoid certain places he feels dangerous but makes them feel they've come to that conclusion on their own. He's very manipulative like that. Jealous? Surprisingly no. Don't get him wrong if someone went up and started flirting shamelessly with his soulmate even after being declined there will be fists involved. To be able to cuddle his soulmate means he trusts them with his soul so he knows they only have eyes for him.
Sans: He is a little over protective but he's swooning and can't help that fact. His soulmate makes his soul feel like he's on cloud nine just by being present in his life. His soulmate brings out the person he used to be. Just a fun loving, pun loving skeleton. The underground robbed him and his brother from a life he believed would have been different had certain things come to pass. Now he and his brother are two of the baddest gangsters the underground has ever known. That rough part of him evaporates when he's around his soulmate. Bringing him a joy he thought was long lost and he's incredibly thankful. He will treat his soulmate to dates that are far more casual than actual dating spots. It's where he gets to talk to them and enjoy their company but also proving to be a provider in their life by not just buying dinner but being himself. Of course that raises the flag if he is Jealous or not. He is majorly a jealous skeleton and he was never aware he could be. It's just that he knows he takes them on casual walks and dates but he doesn't want this to be misconstrued as him just wanting a friend. He loves them but he has a secret fear that something will take them from him or turn his love for them against him. It will be up to soulmate to say the "I love you" first. Then he will find himself saying it to them all the time freely. Sugar Daddy? not really a sugar daddy but if his soulmate does request a finer dating experience or for anything in general he will do it without question.
Papyrus: Total sweet bean to his soulmate and one of the best when it comes to encouraging and praising his soulmate. He loves everything about his soulmate and if he didn't have to work or do anything about the house he'd definitely be a permanent fixture at their side. He will spoil his soulmate but he's not necessarily a sugar daddy. He will spoil them by taking care of them. He will study how to give some of the most sensual massages... he might know tantric massage as well to give his soulmate some ultimate care. Should his soulmate ask him for anything he will not deny them. He is far to fond of them. He simply enjoys being with them and seeing them happy. However he can turn that loveable persona off at the drop of hat to take care of business should he need to. He will make sure his Soulmate is blissfully unaware of this other side. Papyrus is absolutely a very terrifying individual and has no qualms in killing. He's doing what he needs to do so he can go back and enjoy what he has with you. Over Protective? To a point. He will not deny his soulmate wanting to go somewhere but he would prefer to take them there rather than them go on their own. Jealous? He would never believe that his soulmate would look at someone else the way they look at him. That however doesn't stop others from trying to steal that attention and they will die trying.
Kentucky: Is beyond what he used to be. Not that he wouldn't enjoy taking his soulmate to a greasy spoon but that's not him anymore. He's far more wary and far more intimidating than Sans. His soulmate might just get spooked when they first meet him. Full of dark humor to an almost remorseless state, he does find himself to be a little eerie and does try a little harder at coming off as genuine rather than a creep. He likes honesty as much as Strike does but he does believe in the adage in a little white lie won't hurt. That doesn't mean he will be completely honest with them. If it means to keep his soulmate from being scared of him they will never know the truth of what it was like for him. Surely they will be able to gather a bit of what went down in the underground from news headings. His timeline is the Great Depression so he went from one shithole to another. The surface isn't exactly as a free as they had hoped and now he has a chance of starving up here to and with a soulmate to look after as well as his brother... he's not going to be kind to get what he needs to provide. Especially when it comes to wooing his soulmate. Times are hard and it's more than likely just having supper on the table is a win. He does find other things to gift to his soulmate while appropriating his business dealings. Trades are often necessary and sometimes he finds himself enjoying if they get messy... more food for him and Twist and that way his soulmate has more to eat at home. Usually reclusive but is open and loving to his soulmate. He would give them the world if they asked for it. Sugar daddy? if keeping them alive with provisions and maybe a few nice thing here and there sure he'll take that title. Over Protective? YES he doesn't want the world the way it is to hurt his precious soulmate. So it's best that he keeps them covered and safe at all times. Jealous? Not really. He knows that his soulmate knows he's wrapped around their little finger. So why have anything else when this terrifying monster seems like putty in their hands? Especially seeing as he provides and is a very loving and attentive mate he has nothing really to worry about... if anything others should be worried to even dare try sweep his soulmate out from under him. They are only gifting themselves as food and he's always hungry.
Twist: The sweetest bean with such a deadly killer instinct... has fallen head over heels as soon as he meets his soulmate. His soulmate none the wiser he has this absolute thrill for the hunt and enjoys rending others for his meals. He is bashful but forward and he will not let his moment of truth slip past him. His soulmate is in for quite the courting. He makes grand gestures for them in this bleak world. All that he has hunted scoured and pilfered just to make them smile when they see what he gets them... all the while enjoying how he obtained them. No one will take food from their mouth and if he sees a job where it looks like that will happen... it will be a blood/dust bath. He will pick wild flowers if he cannot buy some at the florist and always present himself in his best... least torn suit. If anything he gifts you with always is a meal... whether he cooks it for you or found a place to take you with his... hard earned money. Reaching the datemate status with them has him on another level of adoration. He will always offer his warmest of praises and loves tender touches of affection. The best way to get him to be a stuttering mess is if his dear soulmate offers their bed for a nice cuddle. He enjoys cuddling but to do it his soulmates personal space is definitely marriage to him... even if it is in fact just cuddling and not leading up to anything. He won't turn it down either... if soulmate wakes up to something jarring the bed he's rolling around and snuffling like a dog enjoying a good roll on the ground. He's doing it because he loves their scent and he's gladly mixing his in with it as well. With the happiest grin they've ever seen on him. Sugar Daddy? He tries to be but like Papyrus he's more indulging on taking care of his soulmates physical and mental state. Over Protective? Yes but his soulmate would never know as he takes down any obstacles before they have chance to be in his way. Jealous? Nope he always has his soulmates attention and knows he's the best but if someone insists on trying to take you from him? He'll feed them to his brother.
American (Merica/Meric for short): Everyone is dead where he's from. Of course he's never been freed from his timeline's underground. However if soulmate were to fall... he would try to kill them at first obviously it would be Spirit that would tell him that the filthy human seems to be something else to him. The soulmate will not know what to expect from him... he's a maniac after all. The urge to kill them to gain EXP is strong with him just as much as his soul cries out to be with him. Being in close proximity to him would not be wise for too long. He as a lot of murderous intent and his excitement at their being there can trigger it. If he does court them he will give them echo flowers that holds the last screams of his victims. It would be a living nightmare for his soulmate to endure plus a wisecracking floating skull that seems to insult them... It's enough to drive them mad. It would take a lot of time to get him to react more positively to his soulmate and if they are great survivors they may eventually make a better connection with him. Sugar Daddy? Seemingly letting you live not enough??? Over protective? NOPE that would take a very long time to instill those kind of feelings and his soulmate doesn't have much time. Jealous? Of what? No one else here but him and his bro and his bro just loves to degrade them.
Spirit: He is a floating ghost head of his former self... not even a shell. Thought to be the thought projections of his brother as he gets swallowed into madness... Only he can be seen by others. Not much he can do if he does find his soulmate... unless they let him possess them for a spell but as a Papyrus he will do everything in his power to help the being that makes his shattered soul weep in both sadness and love. It takes a lot of nagging on his end to get his brother to leave them be but to come back let him talk to them. He can't seem to drift away from Meric for too long so of course to his brother it seems likes he's babysitting the weirdest playdate from hell. Sugar Daddy? He might ask Meric to do something for him but whether or not he does he has no control over so very doubtful. Over Protective? To an extent he just reminds Meric to be kind as he had already killed him to let his soulmate live. Jealous? YES. Grows even more to despise his brother at the fact that he has a body and could very well learn to love them as much as Spirit projects it.
