It was pretty clear, like the clock tower, if anything was happening in Fibonacci Ward, it was probably happening upwards. 

At least that seemed the better place to start looking before he went down to the base of those tall buildings.

It also seemed, unlike the clock tower, nobody had made anti-spider rune countermeasures.

Unfortunately, as it happened, Spirale had thoughtfully made him an anti-spider rune countermeasure... as he found out after having traveled about thirty minutes up a building and suddenly losing his footing.

(thirty minutes up, incidentally, is not that far when you’re busy looking in windows and otherwise dawdling)

Either way, here he goes!

Vampire can hardly make heads or tails of this place. Arriving here under an eclipse, being herded into a car and handed a phone, then dropped off at a condo. It’s all very overwhelming. Is this all some weird dream? Where’s everyone else? Someone he knows, that is--this place certainly doesn’t have a population problem. 

He’s only in his new condo for a little while before he realizes he’s without most of his worldly possessions. No wine, no coffin, and none of his clothes besides what’s on his back. He can get all that back, he figures. The clothes are probably the easiest to get. 

It doesn’t take Vampire long to find the mall, but Vampire is soon distracted by all the stores. Everywhere he looks are little chachkies and toy stores and so many other things he wants to check out. He hasn’t forgotten why he’s come here, but he figures he may as well stay here until dark anyway. he may as well explore the whole mall. And its during his exploration that someone catches his eye.

“Oh, wow. Are you a robot?” he says, looking... well, sleepy, but also impressed. “Or... No, don’t tell me that’s a costume!”
