“This isn’t going to work,” I murmured, staring at the young man - slave, I tried to remind myself - thoughtfully, and asking myself again why on earth I’d agreed to come to this place. I made sure he was looking at me, concentrating on me, before slowly lifting my hands to my own neck and fastening the leather around it. Then, I smiled at him again before sliding off the couch and kneeling before him, between his slightly spread legs. “This is how it works, Dane. In here, you own me. Do whatever you want: hurt me, abuse me - you can do anything except kill me, but I think that’s a no-brainer.” I clasped my hands together behind my back, slipping into a position I liked more than pretending to dominate anyone. “But whenever we leave the cabin, the collar goes on your neck and you obey me. As long as you do that, I’m yours in here … Master.” I didn’t bother waiting for his response. I’d seen through him, and I knew that he’d agree. He wanted this just as much as I did.

Somehow, it seemed we matched.
