Cheer Up Sun! - Sundrop + Glamrock Freddy
Summary: Waking up in the Daycare after the lights come back on, Sun fears Moon may have done something horrible. He goes to his friends with his fears, but only Freddy seems to listen. Will Freddy be able to ease his fears and cheer him up...? A Sun and Freddy tickle fic, cause why not?
...
Sun skipped along in the daycare. He couldn't wait to make glitter crafts and have fun today!
He went to his favourite area: the ballpit. Doing a perfect dive, he sunk deep into the pit. Then without warning, the lights went out.
In the matter of a few seconds, Moon took over his body. Leaping out of the pit, he grinned menacingly.
“Guess who’s back kids...?!” He laughed.
The children screamed and ran.
Vanessa heard the commotion and came to check things out. She ended up hiding behind the desk with the kids while Moon stalked around the daycare. Grabbing her taser, she assured the kids she'd handle the situation. That it would be alright!
Moon leapt in front of her, wiggling his fingers.
The old Moon would use this tactic to tickle naughty children who stayed up past their bedtime. This version of Moon would use it as a warning before he maimed or killed someone. This Moon was broken.
He was at least three feet taller than her. Vanessa gulped, but in one quick strike she brought the taser down on him. There was blue lightning that coursed throughout his body. Screeching, he went down.
Sighing in relief, Vanessa then went to check the fuse box. Replacing all of the fuses that had burned out, she grumbled. The lights came back on.
"Why do we even still use fuses?!" She wondered, rolling her eyes. "No wonder this place doesn't work properly!"
...
Waking up, Sun held his head. His body felt like the wiring had malfunctioned. It felt like he had heartburn. What had happened...? He walked over to the hiding kids, but they cowered away.
"Kids...?" he said, worried. He pulled away, not wanting to frighten them more.
With growing fear, he checked on the other kids, hoping they were alright. All of them seemed frightened of him. The more kids he checked on, the more he realized Moon had terrified the entire Daycare.
If he could cry, he surely would. He was supposed to watch over children, not scare them! And Moon was being more and more distant, not communicating with him at all in the past week. What had Moon done?!
Scared, Sun ran over to the Glamrocks, trying to tell them something was wrong.
"The kids are scared of me, now..." he explained, with a heavy heart. "I think I might have failed them! If anyone had gotten hurt, I'd be decommissioned, but Moon doesn't understand!!! He just wants to scare and threaten people nowadays!!"
"Who cares about those brats?" Roxy said. "It's their loss! And they can’t decommission you if you blame it on the technician!!"
"Yeah," Monty agreed, strumming his bass. "Rock and roll!"
Chica wasn't paying attention, foraging in the trash for thrown away pizza.
Sun sighed. "You understand, don't you Freddy?"
"Of course," Freddy replied. "It's your job to watch over the children and prevent them from getting hurt. But if Moon is malfunctioning, then someone could get hurt. Come on, I'll lead you to the help desk. We can write a report and get you fixed in no time!"
"You mean it?!" Sun said hopefully.
"Of course." Freddy offered a hug and Sun took it.
"Thanks, Freddy."
Leading the way, Freddy went to the help desk with Sun. He typed up a report and brought him to the repair station. After the mechanics repaired Sun, he came outside to meet with Freddy.
"Woohoo!! I feel good as new!!"
"How's Moon?" Freddy asked.
"Eh, still a little grumpy. But I'm sure he'll talk to me eventually. He probably feels awful about what happened!!"
Freddy nodded. "Yes, that makes sense... I would feel that way too."
"Anyways, time to go back to the daycare!" Sun said cheerfully, tickling Freddy's ribs playfully.
"Heheehee, hey!" he laughed. Picking up Sun, he tickled his underarms. "You're going to get it now!"
"EEEHEEEHEHEHEHEEEEE!!" he screeched. "WAITWAITWAIT!!"
"Yes?" Freddy said, pausing. Then Sun took his chance and attacked Freddy's back.
"AAHAHAHAHAAA!! WAHAHAAIT NOHOOHOO! NOT MY BACK!!"
Sun chuckled. "I'm gonna getcha!! Yes I am!!"
"HAAHAAA!! NOT IF I GET YOU FIRST!!" He targetted Sun's hips, turning the tables.
"EEEHEHEHEEEEHEHHEHEHEEEEEHEHE!" Sun screamed, wiggling around wildly. "STAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAP!"
"Do you surrender...?"
"NEVER!!!" Sun cried, trying to find an opening.
Freddy moved to his stomach area, gently scratching all over it, and getting his sides at the same time.
"YEEEEHEHEHEHEHEEHEEEEE!! ALRIHIHIHIHIHIHIIIIIIGHT!! I SURRENDER!!! AHAHAHAAHAHAAAA!!"
Letting up, Freddy smiled at Sun, allowing him to catch his breath.
"Wow, you certainly are ticklish!" Freddy teased. Sun covered his face.
"That's not fair!"
"Heh. Well, I'll see you around, Sun. Saaaay, I wonder if Moon is as ticklish as you...?"
The Daycare Attendant stiffened. Then he high-tailed it out of there, back to the daycare.
"I suppose that answers my question!" Freddy chuckled. "...Anyway, I hope he's alright now."
And things would indeed be alright.
