Switcher in the yard
Switcher and Freight Cars
General Electric Class B-50 diesel electric locomotive .It weighs 25 tons and produces 150 HP. It was built for the Monsanto Chemical Corporation in 1948 and served there until 1997. It changed hands a few times including the Central New England Railroad where it was named "Quarter Pounder". In 2007 it was moved to the Petaluma and restored to be the "Petaluma & Santa Rosa RR No. 5". It now serves as their main locomotive, because the other powered equipment on the route is a speeder.
