It took about a decade for me to finally get a chance to read past where the Kindle Sample ended.

I'm rereading everything again, just because I'm not exactly sure where the Kindle Sample ends....and once I determine that? Will it be much better if I just experience the book in its entirety?

I think so! Because I feel like the Kindle Sample jumped right into the first paragraph of Chapter 1. It is likely that in reading this page for the first time. If that's the case? I'm delighted!

Part of me wonders why I didn't have a copy of the book when I had wanted to keep reading. My guess is its Minimalism: the book wasn't available at the library. By the time Bear and I started to read books together, it might have ended up dropping off my Sphere Of Awareness.

Part of the quote had my attention because I think I have to keep this in mind with Bear: I make an effort in asking her that additional question even if I'm past the limits of my patience. To be reminded that her presence in my life is an opportunity for me to increase my Patience Runway.

Our ruptures usually circle around me not feeling heard, and one of the epiphanies from our discussions is that I was reminded that whenever Bear isn't able to validate my perspective, it's likely she is somewhere else: one of those places where her leaning towards perfectionism was nurtured.

My default was her parents. But then she adds that her sister also contributes to that. Whoever she misses a turn and her sister is convinced that that tidbit of knowledge is from her (the sister).
