Guh! Finally finished the video on our feet trick. I’m trying to horde video clips and make nicer final one rather than short silly little ones. Here go our first attempt (this is also the first time I actually sat down and color graded each clip)
Guess what we learned! For about a month every fire hydrant I passed I had her put her paws on (as a little check in) and then we moved up to a “paws on things and stay”!
Very happy! We can’t do it for long right now, but we are working on it. I can’t wait until the point where I can send her away to put her paws on anything.
AHHHH! SHE DID SO WELL! Down stays is the trick she HATES the most. I got so far and I was REALLY pushing her limits by slow walking/skipping/dancing/being a general idiot.
Then a truck made a noise and she went into a sit. Theeeeennnnn she saw me and broke her stay. I still gave her a treat because that was beyond what I thought she could do.
