Hurricane Laura Relief
For those who have seen the news, Hurricane Laura made landfall at 1 AM, hitting hard with winds at 150 mph and causing catastrophic destruction across the Southwest Louisiana and East Texas area. I live in Lake Charles, and the destruction I’ve witnessed today is horrifying. It doesn’t even look like Lake Charles.
This is the only link as of now that I’ve seen for donating to help give relief aid to the southwest area. Please, if you can, share this link, or donate what you can. Currently, we already have just over $15,000 out of the $30,000 goal! Thank you all

Apologies, this is my 1st post for a while. A short slideshow of the, now completed, Peregrine Falcon, sculpted in Chavant Le Beaux Touché clay over an aluminium, copper and wood armature. The completed sculpture will be available in bronze, in 2 separate editions of 15. 1 attached to a base and 1 flying free, suspended from a fine stainless steel wire. These are available to pre-order now and the 1st cast bronzes will be ready in a few months. I will post again, with a few photos and a bit more detail soon. For those of you unaware. Somehow. Parts of Texas and Louisiana were decimated by Hurricane Laura. Like entire power grids have to be remade. That's about 4 weeks minimum no power. Lake Charles saw massive damage to both of its water treatment facilities. Westlake a city right across the bridge from Lake Charles had a massive chemical leak and fire. It was chlorine. The fire has been contained but the shelter is place is on going. Homes have been ripped away, business and schools destroyed.
If you have the ability or know someone who can. Please donate to relief efforts. These places will need help.
Rita and Katrina took years to fully recover from and Laura will be no different. If you can't donate and you are religious. Pray for these families.
