Lucy gets the Master in on her plan to kill the Doctor. She doesn't actually plan to give him any power, but figures having him as an enemy this early would be a very bad idea. He doesn't intend to let her keep her power once she's got it. Even without whatever lies ahead, things are already destined to end badly. Lucy goes to kill the Doctor, and a ring is delivered to the Master. He's now Famine. Because of course, giving the crazy Time Lord biblical powers of destruction always works out.

What you missed in Team Plunger To The Rescue:

Chuck and Theta get into Mortimus and Ushas' house, where the demon Neoptolemus is beating on Morty. Chuck gets into a bedroom and puts down some demon's traps, Theta throws a pebble at a window and breaks it by accident. They both get beat on, and eventually Neoptolemus is trapped and tied down. Morty takes Theta to the basement to hide, they had a moment, then he goes up to beat on Neoptolemis. Theta puts himself in a healing coma in the basement, where he awaits Morty with the all-clear. Chuck and Mortimus beat on Neoptolemus, who reveals that LUCIFER IS BACK, MOTHERFUCKERS. They exorcise Neoptolemus, and Koschei asks after Theta.

Lucy was minding her own business, ignoring the apocalypse when Lucifer showed up in her living room. He took her from her flat to a palace full of riches and promises that if she helps him, he'll make her a queen and everything he's showing her will belong to her. There's something she has to do first, though: kill John Smith. She agrees.
