Star Wars OC Appreciation Week - Day 7

DISCLAIMER: Erm, quite possibly my laziest post here - dug out from 2011! But wanted to share my first Star Wars OCs from when I was about 7... which explains a lot about why they are what they are.

The timeline is OT, I remember making them up after watching RotJ - later added elements from the prequels though. Their story is actually kinda cute, about a Jedi father whose kid gets taken away and they both have to mature and adapt to new circumstances before they meet again.

Species -  an (obviously not canon) quadrupedal sentient species: a mix between a sugar glider, civet and ocelot. Very group-oriented and friendly, walk on hind feet if needed + do indeed glide on skin flaps. Are able to learn Basic and usually don’t wear clothes, but a poncho or cloak are acceptable if necessary.

Ni au Jedi (’Ni, of the family Jedi’) - the blue one. A thoughtful and extremely cautious little Jedi knight. He survives by hiding deep in the jungles of his species - they are all considered barely half-intelligent by the Empire. (And no he is not the knight who goes ‘Ni!’, as Monty Python references were not quite my thing yet at 7 years old. :D)

Ee au Ni (’Ee, of the family Ni’) - the green one. Ni’s biological child and his padawan. Very curious and overly trusting! The youngling resents not being taught lightsaber skills, naϊvely helps a novice darksider and ends up whisked off from his planet - where his adventure begins.

Iray and Tooth. both gunners in the 796th Star Corps and a couple for some times now. Iray has a medical condition and he has the ability to gain unnecesaary bodyweight. Afterthe medics scared the shit out of Tooth telling him how Iray would die if he keept feeding him sweets, Tooth decided to learn how to make diet friendly cakes and cookies.Here is the first taste.

• Iray: (CT-1989)

Pilot: Flies with Vomfort.

Appearance: He is bald, has honey brown eyes, a circle beard but it runs along his jaw too. He has Vomfort's designation number tattooed over his heart. There is a really ugly scar over his eyes, horizontal. It's wide and rugged. Has a scary tattoo too; two rivets over his eyes. He has a teeth tattooed into each back of his hands (To honor Tooth).

Personality: He likes to scare people. Tell them ghost stories and make up wild tales. Also he likes to scare people for real; jumping on them when they aren't alert. He has a deep, rumbling laughter. A slightly bulkier built than the others and has something with his metabolism. He actually can get overweight, so he is on strict diet, ordered by the medics. He has Tooth as his lover. After a rant from the medics, Tooth starts to make him diet friendly sweets instead of the heavy ones. They are ridiculously happy together.

• Tooth: (CT-1215)

Pilot: Flies with Skuggan.

Appearance: He has carrot orange hair (genetic mutation) that barely reaches down to his shoulders. He keeps it in various kinds of pony tails. Has bright green eyes (also genetic mutation). There’s a rivet tattooed at each back of his hands to honour Iray. One tooth is missing on the right side in his upper jaw. Freckles are covering all of his face and shoulders.

Personality: Tooth is extremely scared of medics, especially dentists. This is because he normally is somewhat of a control freak that needs people to tell him what's going on and he has bad experiences with medics who didn't tell him a thing. Tooth has a talent for cooking and he's frequently involved with the black market to get some goods. While he's very sweet when you get to know him he tends to have lightly possesive traits that easily makes him jealous. He's not a good team player and is even worse at sharing. Is extremely protective of his lover, Iray, but gives him his own space because he's well aware that Iray can take care of himself. Is not afraid to sulk to get his will through.
