a swish is smaller than a whoosh. small objects make swishes.

a whoosh is larger than a swish. a large object would make a whoosh.

I picked up a dip pen and ink and am getting back into calligraphy, which I haven’t touched since, like, I think eighth or ninth grade? Plus a couple one-offs in undergrad. One of which involved the president of the university hand-carving us quills from feathers because it was that kind of place. 

Anyway there were clearly not enough flourishes in my life before. 

God bless the modern day internet for having tips for lefties too, my swooshes already feel swooshier.
