I had to force myself to stop talking about trans stuff on Facebook because there was a refusal to acknowledge my experience and frequent anti-trans posting. I used to feel like I was responsible, that I didn’t explain well enough. But it’s NOT our job to teach everyone. No one should bear that burden.

i hate posts that phrase ‘teach everyone’ as a reasonable or possible or SAFE possibility
