Chanced Meeting (Mihawk)

This was a bad situation... She opened her eye, the light filtered in.

Making her head explode with pain and dizziness.What the hell had happened?

She reached up, closing her eye slowly and testing her body for any really serious damages to her anatomy. Her hand wouldn't move past a certain point though... It seemed she had manacles on them. Her head burst into another, wave of pain and unhappiness at being moved.

Protesting her heads screaming, she turned to look at where she was. The last thing she could remember was starting a fight with some weird looking bastard in a bar, the place she had found was full of weirdly dressed warriors. Some who looked like Pirates even, from Old Earth.

She saw wooden planks, felt whatever surface she was on swaying underneath her body. There was a man leaning against the corner wall, he had manacles as well and looked extremely unhappy...

"Well... Who the hell are you? Last thing I remember is starting a bar fight."

       He really didn’t know how they ended up in that situation, and in perspective he didn’t really want to analyze it. He was following the swordsman through the long corridors of his castle. He had never expected to be a guest, nor he had expected the other shichibukai to have any sense of hospitality, but shit happened.

For some reason he felt the need to lighten the mood. Or to annoy the swordsman—- probably the latter.

Of course, deep down each human was the same. Arrogance and power were two words which could be associated with all, men and women alike. She was a prime example of such a thing. A powerful Queen whose position and beauty had caused her arrogance to swell out of control and she thought of herself as better than all men. An arrogant and powerful woman. Men were not so different either. He wasn’t so different.

"All people are the same at heart." Reiterating her statement was all the swordsman could do for he knew that her words held truth in some regards. She may have been arrogant and poweful but when people became powerful a certain element of wisdom also appeared in their hearts that allowed them to keep such power.

The man’s unblinking gaze didn’t avert itself form her eyes as he stared at her, unbothered by what was going on around them. This was a moment where either of the two would try and intimidate the other.

 "Clearly you have not been on the receiving end of the true cruelty of men." She narrowed her eyes, thinking of the shadowed figures who made up her former captors. Her owners. Never again would she tolerate such subservience. Even in her service, she was defiant as ever.

"Perhaps all people begin the same, but society shapes men into something evil and dangerous. Anything so they can feel superior." She accused, focusing on her chosen target of the day, the wielder of one of the most powerful blades in the world. She was not in a good mood today, clearly, taking out her ever-burning anger on the first person to anger her in whatever small way.

It didn’t make sense. She’d tried to fluster him so many times that if she strutted naked in front of him, he'd probably wonder if she was just going insane. He was unphased by her powers and by her inherent beauty. 

It angered her more than it should have. She didn’t particularly care for him in the way she cared for Luffy. He was just a challenge.

She cornered him one day, full of frustration toward his lack of reaction. He looked bored, nonplussed as she pinned him to the wall.

"Will this take long? I don’t exactly have all day set aside to humor temperamental children," He said with a sigh.

She growled and moved in, kissing him angrily, fiercely, and with determination. It was pure instinct that drove her action. Pulling away, she realized the scope of what she had done, eyes going wide as she realized- she had kissed a man, and not just any man- Hawkeye. She felt no fear during the event, but now her resolve was starting to waver.
