         » ⌜📷⌟   A lot has happened. Too much, in fact, that the sudden change upon waking up is a bit jarring. He has to keep morale up in any situation so here he is, attempting to figure something out as he leaves through the door, fussing with his armband.

He’s not particularly happy, and it shows for a split second before he sees the other man outside the door next to his. There’s surprise, then relief as he realises he’s not the only one of his friends having to solve this mystery. No, now there’s someone much smarter than himself, so he’s back to being hopeful. Gladio, however, looks very serious, more than usual so he pulls a smile for him and tries to lighten the entire situation.

“Ah, hey big guy.” Prompto grins, approaching and slapping his lower back in a friendly gesture. “Wanna...take a look around? Maybe get some food...” What else could he offer, really.

────────── ⊰ 🔱 ⊱ ─   𝔖𝔥𝔢 has seen pictures of Noctis’ friends in the journal they pass from one to the other, so she almost immediately recognises the bodyguard. Curious, how part of her is certain perhaps this may be the afterlife, she wonders why he might be there. Though she has faith that if he is here, then it may not be exactly what she fears. She hopes. 

“Gladiolus Amicitia? If I am correct.” She smiles fondly, finally getting to meet one of the Lucis prince’s friends. Had she been in a place to offer comfort, she would certainly be more hospitable yet she was outside and void of anything substantial as she approached him out of the blue. “May I ask...is Noctis well? Should he not be with you?”

          noctis isn’t sure if it’s just because the walls and floors are thin, or if the person living below him is just that incredibly loud, but it’s starting to wear on him.  day after day, he hears heavy footsteps and creaky furniture from below his floors.  finally, noctis takes it upon himself to find out just what kind of elephant is living down there.

          he leans against the wall outside of the hummingbird hotel, with a good view of room #107, waiting for its occupant to come out.  it’s early in the morning for him to be awake, and he’s not the best at looking casual.  as a matter of fact, he probably looks like a creep, in all black, hair hanging in his eyes.  until the door opens, and he spots a familiar figure exiting.  in that moment, all irritation leaves him.

          “gladio!”  oh, how it’s good to see his shield here.
