Okay, so I went into Date Night and I screenshot 7.7. Here's a comparison between 7.5, 7.6, and 7.7

Eva in 7.5 (she didn't have the spiffy outfit yet). For some reason, in 7.5, the shadows started to granulate, but we did have the dynamic lighting, which was cool.

Here is Eva in 7.6. Dynamic lighting is gone, shadows are still granulated, and you can see some serious under-eye lines, dehydrated lips, the 11s (right between the eyes) and marionette lines.

Here's Eva now in 7.7. Dynamic lighting is still broken, shadows still pixelate. However! Note the toning down of the undereye circles and the 11s. Marionette lines are gone. There is lip texture there, but not as much. Also, in combo with the other items going on in the 7.6 screenshot, it made the lips look worse than they were. I still think they need to get rid of the Tammy Faye Baker eyeliner, but I can live with this.

Off to Ord Mantel to see if Eva and Corso look like the 19 year old idiots they are.

Despite the lack of story ( curse you EA/AI! ) I'm still pretty satisfied what we're getting as of 7.7. I'm mostly super stoked about the new customization options coming to the character creator. I'm tentatively hoping for more continued updates regarding that. ( missing lekku, cyborg parts/eyes, etc )

Also they mentioned working on a new player species! Do you guys have any guesses?

My personal guesses:

1. Zeltron ( just a pink/red humanoid )

2. Pantoran ( doubtful, visually similar to chiss, just a blue humanoid )

3. Arkanian ( easy to work with, just a pale humanoid with four fingers )

4. Voss ( assets already there, but might be weird lore wise )

So the 7.7 update-

It fixed my innocent little blueberry!

Poor Orla got hit hard with all the previous issues Chiss had in the prior updates. No longer does she have to hide behind her helmet!

To be honest all of Issie's daughters got hit pretty hard in the previous updates, but poor Orla was hit the hardest.

Her sisters on the other hand now look much better too!

My dumbass forgot to take shots of the 4 of them before the 7.7 update for a before and after but in my shame I didn't. Kinda forgot to given how Isadola was barely hit badly at all (devs have little to fuck up on the miralukas I know).

My babies finally look better again. Finally looking as good as their mothers again! (the 4 of them always looked good but you know what I mean)

realized i could finally see if i could bring this guy back and delighted to confirm we are so indeed back. rhyst was my one kinda casualty from the first modernization and i couldn't get the tweaks right to find something i was happy with but NOW. now we're talking!

and like. it fit his track record anyway bc for a guy who i made exclusively for the jedi knight campaign, this guy's gone through more visual overhauls than anyone else and hasn't ever quite looked exactly like he does in my mind in-game anyway akdnfa;lsdfnlsd. and also i guess i could be accused of needing yet another replay on that fact bc i decided since the start of this one that actually i think he's a natural ginger instead of brunette like i started with. 😅 bg3 i think was to blame for that one, but, anyway. xD fine return to form for him so i can finally start picking at his playthru again when i get the time!

my only character changes so far with 7.7 have been: albino chiss (if I could give my girl pink eyes I would but they are cowards, they know letting us adjust chiss eyes at all would give us too much power), melanistic(-ish) chiss (why not), and purble twi'lek (i am not immune to purple twi'lek, although I did really like one of the deep blues and one of the mossy greens as well)
