Started thinking about my swtor trooper Aleen and her romance options ended up deciding that she can't read Arabesh and has been fucking faking it for her entire career with the Republic. Her hacking is entirely pattern recognition she couldn't tell you what any of those symbols MEAN and it doesn't matter cause she got it done so Hah.
Her reports are all done voice to text. When pressed she's like 97% of everything is over com or holocom anyway no one needs to read in this army. Also I can read coordinates and that's all that matters.
Elara is in despair. Aric is considering the pros and cons of just going back to despising her. 4x is shocked that anyone so high ranking could show such disregard for the republics language. Yuun is just pleased to discover another 'basic does not deserve respect as a language' truther. Meanwhile Tanno Vic thinks this is the funniest thing anyone has ever done he can't believe he's spent so long in the Republic finding ways to stick it to them and this never occurred to him. She can't fucking read. He's never gained so much respect for anyone.
I recruited Skadge again. He's happy, has food, the AC is on, and he's listening to his favorite tunes.

I do think it would be really funny to have SWTOR era 'Has faced down multiple Sith apprentices and fallen Jedi and not only walked away but beaten them badly' Troopers show up in TCW and just kick down the armoury door like "WHERE is the armour and do not point me at that plastoid shit. Where I come from we have armour that actually protects us."

Like it would make more sense to have Revan or Satile or something probably but the image of the SWTOR trooper just showing up and calling bullshit immediately is very funny to me as well.
