Swtor Achievement- The Thranta Also Rises

There are two Alderaan achievements. This particular achievement also gives you the Legacy Title: Inheritor mmobits has a really good guide that was easy and straight forward to follow so I won’t create an additional guide. I do want to point out that there are a couple of items that may not spawn. Don’t fret, just try again later. Also, make sure you click on the macrobinoculars in the Killik cave, even if you already have macrobinoculars on your character. If you don’t, odds are you will not get the achievement (I used my own and didn’t get the achievement until I clicked on the macrobinoculars in the cave). 

Also, scaling the wall to get to the object in the Ancient Ruins isn’t as challenging as it may appear (you’ll see when you get there). Turn your sprint off and toggle off run to walk (some people call it the “RP walk”). If you’re not sure how to do this, go to Preferences > Key Bindings > Movement > Toggle Run/Walk to see what your keybind is. I am pretty dreadful at platforming and was able to do this with minimal discomfort.

Today’s Cartel Market flash sale is the Tobus Prowler.

This is a really cute mount that has a classic car feel to it. I like to use it on smugglers and agents particularly. No real bells and whistles to it, just a nice, modestly sized black and silver vehicle mount that can work for a variety of characters. 

Today’s Renown Bonus (rxp) is Chapters. If you’re needing or wanting to catch up on KOTFE and KOTET chapters today is your day!

Command Corsair mount is 50% off, 750 from 1,500. Cool, sleek mount and in my opinion, one of the best sounding mounts in the game (sounds like a speeding car). I didn’t see any on the GTN this morning so a possible investment for flipping this on the market if that is your thing (though others may have that same idea).

CXP bonus today is planetary missions, so it’s a good day to listen to some music and do heroics and dailies.

Cartel Market Certificates

If you have purchased a crate post 5.9.2 you may have received one of these cartel market certificates. 

These were included in old packs but were recently reintroduced as a rare drop in crates with 5.9.2. These are good to have. I’m fortunate enough to have a stack from earlier in the game’s life cycle but I’ve hoarded them out of concern that they would never be reintroduced (I’m weird like that). 

If one drops for you in a crate don’t dismiss as trash rng. In the Cartel Bazaar area of the fleet there are Underworld Exchange vendors next to Basuda The Hutt on pub and Amdra The Hutt on imp (across the room from the event reputation vendors). They sell many good things... things that would cost you a lot more if you were to buy on the gtn or with cartel coins. 

In addition to those vendors is Theron in disguise Clem Stato. He sells stronghold specific items that you can purchase with Cartel Certificates. 

Particularly he sells these jawa deco vendors.

These jawa scrap peddlers are the same ones that are in the Cartel Bazaar area of the fleet. So you can buy crafting mats with jawa scrap without having to go to fleet. Izzar takes jawa junk (for purple mats), Hadiir takes scavenged scrap (for green mats), and Mnek sells takes assorted droid parts (for blue mats). 

It is worth it to me because I do a lot of crafting and since once you hit level 70 they throw jawa scrap at you with command crates you can essentially get mats for free without having to deal with fleet.

Today’s cxp bonus is planetary missions

Great day to get your dailies done. CZ, Yavin 4, Black Hole, Ziost, and Section X are huge cxp hitters today. Even the planet heroics are good. I’ve posted this before but here is a link to Heroics List: Instanced Vs. Not Instanced for those wanting to avoid crowds. Thing with that is you’ll still need to do a certain # of them to get the cxp bonus for the Heroic quest you get from the Activities finder. You can be strategic and pick non instances that are less problematic than others to hit that # requirement though. :)
