How about a 'Tropes' month or weekend? Where we do things like classic tropes... Fake Married, Sex Pollen, Aliens Made Them Do It, that sort of thing?
That sounds awesome! I’d probably do a weekend of it (a different style of Sunday Write-in perhaps, or maybe a Saturday thing) as opposed to making it a monthly theme. But I’ll definitely keep this idea in mind, thanks!

@maptowhereialreadyam answered: My thoughts might be too US-centric but terror/spooky/horror came to mind for October. November I thought of political unrest :p and December with Rogue One I thought of rebellion/heists/underdogs.
All excellent suggestions! I was definitely thinking of something that would work with October/Halloween, but I want to hear more suggestions before I make a final suggestion. I’ll keep yours in mind for the future months though!
Themed Writing Months
Hello everyone! We only have three more days (not including today) until October is here and I wanted to bring up the possibility of themed writing months again.
We’ve had two suggestions from @twird96 and @beautifullights1. Those suggestions were “ Perhaps turning to the dark side?” and “ Changing/Turning?” respectively. These are awesome suggestions and I have a few ideas for combining them into a theme for October, but I wanted to give everyone another chance to put in their own suggestions for the month. Even if I don’t use them for October, there’s always a possibility for using those themes for future months!
Remember, these writing months are just meant to be fun ways to get some words out there and possibly to explore headcanons. And yes, any fic you write that you tag with #swwa-themes will be reblogged for everyone to see.
That being said, what is everyone’s suggestion for October?
