Well another heartbreaking race as a Landoscar fan 😭 suddenly I’m actually happy about having no races for the entirety of April so McLaren can work on their damn car! But a big congrats to Kimi on getting his first win!

Anyway, I spent that entire race finishing the happy, established Landoscar one shot I’d started to cheer myself up after the Aus GP. So I’m planning on uploading that and the new chapter of SWYL on Ao3 later tonight!

So… I was intending to spend the public holiday here is Aus today writing the SWYL sequel but I couldn’t fathom writing anything sad or emotional after yesterdays GP so instead I’ve smashed out almost 4k words of a fun little fic which involves established landoscar very much happy and in love! I’m actually super keen to finish it now so keep your eyes posted for it soon 🫣🧡

Just finished reading my my brains going brrrrrr with all of my thoughts, that was so good and I’m actually crashing out about waiting for the first chapter to be uploaded! I’d love to see landos pov of his birthday night at the club, seeing Oscar with people his own age, and more specifically, with Logan! I’m so happy Logan’s apart of this, I miss seeing loscar besties on track together <3

i just finished reading the epilogue and i felt so bad for lando, i really hope he gets the help he needs and gets better. i'm glad he has max ☹️

i really enjoyed SWYL and i can't wait for CAYL! i'm sure it's going to be just as good 🧡

btw, you said you wanted to write a one-shot and i have to admit that these last few days i've been thinking about asking you if you'd be interested in writing a sweet and funny scene where lando and oscar talk about when they realized they liked each other. idk, i just love it when couples in movies share these things and say something like, "oh, at that moment i was nervous because you were standing too close to me" 😅 you don't have to do it, but i think it would be comforting after that breakup ❤️‍🩹

HELLO IM THE ANON WHO SAID THEY HAD A THEORY FOR THE BITTERSWEET ENDING

first of all AUCH, second i was slightlyyyy right. from their first kiss, i knew lando was gonna be the one to end things, now the reason behind i had two scenarios: first one being him trying to protect osc from media and all that as he goes to his rookie season, thinking oscar shouldn't be seen as an extension of lando but rather oscar the driver himself and the age gap would be another factor here as well. second scenario is a bit more dramatic but their relationship being leaked lol, at least to mclaren and them forbidding the relationship.

buuuut i'm satisfied with the real reason !!! you just opened another whole can of worms for me to theorize for the sequel and i'm so so excited!!!! (first theory: loscar is gonna be a thing and lando is: jealous o depressed about it (a secret third thing: both))

I know! As soon as I completed writing it I was way too damn eager for you all to read it so started posting twice a week instead of once! It’s crazy to think it’ll be completely out for you all in two Sunday’s time! This fic has literally been like my baby since I started drafting it in September last year 😭

But on a positive, I’ve started writing chapter six of the sequel so they’ll start coming pretty soon after SWYL is finished 🧡
