all of my yes. come here natalia mod, i can't say anything bad about your portrayal. while i haven't really /sat down/, i get this really asdkasflkdf feeling when i read your replies. so i'm taking that as a good thing and thought you should know you're doing a perfect job. keep it up bruh, can't wait to get into your head and poke around a little at natalia. im waiting tbh. i wanna give you some crits that are nice, too. but for now, this.

thank you, asch mun! natalia is someone i feel really comfortable writing and while i'm a little nervous about getting her personality down, (i've taken an accidental break from playing abyss, oops) it makes me happy to know you enjoy my portrayal of her!

     Life in Hive City hadn't been easy to adjust to. Having her friends did help her feel at ease, but it did not feel the same when so many of them were missing. It was good not all of them are here, but at the same time she did feel just that little bit lonely. Not that she would admit that easily.

     Blinking twice, her eyes were drawn to a familiar shade of red. Could it be...? It couldn't, maybe. She didn't know and she felt nervous to find out, yet she knew she had to. The princess took a few steps towards him and bit down on her bottom lip.

     Hand stretched out, Natalia's fingers were spread before she found herself frozen. Within seconds her hand closed tightly and she pulled it towards her chest, her free hand covering it. What is this is a dream, or some sort of trick? For all she knew it could be just that and when she actually touched him, he would disappear. If something like that were to happen...

     Natalia felt a lump in her throat. Part of her had accepted the fate that had fallen on the two men she felt close to her, yet another part always hoped that they were alive. They were so dear to her, both of them, so it felt like torture not knowing for sure. Finally she spoke, voice cracking and a little shaky.

      "Asch...         Please tell me that this is you."

who wears the ugly christmas sweaters: lucina, but laurent wears them so she’s not too alone. her probably doesn’t really mind, though.

who picks out the holiday movies and who makes the hot cocoa: lucina probably rents really cheesy holiday movies and laurent makes some pretty dang good hot cocoa.

who starts the snowball fight: neither. it’s morgan.

who drags the other under the mistletoe: lucina!

who decorates the house: lucina mostly, though laurent helps out too.

who hangs up the ornaments on the tree: both of them.

who cooks christmas dinner: probably laurent? he seems like he’s a decent cook.

who invites the other to sing a christmas duet: lucina.

if they have any holiday traditions: they watch “A Christmas Carol” on christmas eve.

who would start a food fight during baking: neither, really.

who would get drunk off of eggnog: …. idk. maybe lucina a bit?

a memory of their father

they made enough to get by. occasionally he`d take her into the walls of sina when business calls for it. their lives are a stark contrast to theirs, and she remembers how proud they all stood as they parade their accessories as a testament to their wealth. even the girls her age had a different air, and petra scuffled her feet beneath her dress to hide her flour-covered shoes which hadn`t been dusted off quite enough.

she remembers eyeing the shoes at the window, but never asking for them to be hers. she`s just a child, her father just a baker.

he disappeared into the shop, telling her to wait patiently, and she focused on something else to distract her from this superfluous desire; she focused upon the road of cobblestone horse-drawn carriages crossed over, on the sound of hooves meeting stone.

finally, he emerged, and with the a proud and bright smile only a beaming father can muster, holds the very same pair in a bag woven of silk. they made enough to get by, but her father always made sure his daughter never felt inadequate.
