(For @sxgarspice) The forest was calm, the only noise was the occasional bird call or the rustle of leaves. A rabbit hopped around the base of a tree while a deer grazed in a clearing. All seemed well until the deer suddenly raised it's head, it's ears perked up. The forest has gone silent minus the rustling. The birds had stopped singing and the rabbit was no where to be found. The deer began to search it's surroundings, it's chest showing it's rapid heartbeat. It was about to resume grazing when it noticed a pair of golden eyes watching it, reptilian and hungry. Suddenly the eyes lunged out of the shadows and the deer began to fleet in a panic, it's pursuer hot on it's tail. It had to quickly change directly as the Beast suddenly leaped and narrowly missed the deer, skidding past it and kicking up leaves before resuming the hunt.

Korinna, shooting him in the back of the knee with a Nerf gun for his birthday present.

Just a little…tickle that Trunks had felt, turning around to see Kori with one of those..toy guns. Was that gun for his birthday? Was the shot he just received his present? Agh, nothing that Kori does could be register as normal behavior and she would often have him thinking. However, Trunks would still smile and directs that smile towards her. It is better to receive attention or affection than anything at all upon one’s day of birth. “Thank you very much Kori.” His words were grateful and honest.
