He'd been the first to talk to Bloom and try befriend her when she started after all. "You might think I'm some big tough Specialist, but Silva always taught me that our greatest strength in life is caring and having something to fight for. To close yourself off from emotions, it will get you killed in the long run." he mused as his head tilted as he watched her.

      Aren’t we ALL? Hermione wants to ask, but then she remembers how hard she’s been trying to break her habits, to keep herself busy with a million things ever since the war ended.

     “Did you get the letter?” She asks instead, thinking about the piece of paper that’s been neatly tucked away in her drawer ever since arriving a week away. They haven’t talked about it, and yet she knows Ron’s answer. Harry, however? She’s not sure.

     “I’m going BACK to finish the last year.”

Lucius tilts his head to the side, sneering slightly, as if the things she claims are utterly absurd. "I think you'll find," he says silkily, "that the idea that my son was in any way associated with your unfortunate accident is pure, unproven speculation, and I'd thank you not to mention it in front of me." If only the cursed necklace had managed to finish her off. Draco isn't even able to kill someone on accident . . . what a shame.

He haughtily readjusts the fur collar of his cloak. "It may be tempting to blame your idiocy on someone who was never even charged with any crime, but perhaps you should find an easier target." There were a great many things that could be proven against Draco, but Lucius will not tolerate any more soiling of his family name than is absolutely necessary. Particularly not of his son's reputation.

“yes, ana. that’s fine, just let me know if you end up needing anything or a ride home early. otherwise, have fun,” drizella smiled to herself before she ended the call. once the call had safely ended she sighed and then slid her phone back into her purse. it wasn’t easy to not worry so much about her sister, especially since they had missed so much time together. however, it had also been a few months since they reunited and it had gotten easier, just a bit.

helaena had been spending most of the day either with her children, avoiding aegon, and thinking about a new pattern she wanted to embroider. after she had dismissed herself from her childrens room she made her way back to her chambers. she had waved off her handmaid and just hoped to be left alone. however, when the doors to her chamber had been opened she noticed that her sister was inside. “rhaenyra, hello.”

"Piss off dude." Riven snorted a little as he brought the bottle in hand up to his lips. "Do I look like someone who gets a lot of compliments?" He wasn't the golden boy of Alfea like his best friend was. Wasn't raised by the famous Specialist Saul Silva. Fuck, half the time he was one disciplinary away from expulsion, and if he was, his own father would be pissed. "I know I'm good, one of the best, alongside you. I don't get the praise from the instructors though, and that's fine, just makes me train harder, you know?"

"Noted." Bloom muttered, fixing him with a look before peering around the corner. "Once Rosalind leaves her office, I will be able to sneak in and try figure out what her game is." There was definitely something going on and she needed to figure out what it was. Especially when the new headmistress seemed to make it her mission to try get Bloom into using her powers again. Then there was the not so small matter of figuring out where Dowling had went, if she'd been imprisoned like Silva had.

"I'm not going to make a big deal out of it, just let me see your hand." He'd heard from Terra about the fairy duels at the Stone Circle; and Bloom's duel with Marco. From what he was told it had been a nasty zap. "Are you in any pain? I've never been on the receiving end of an Air Fairy's electricity before, but I can imagine that it doesn't feel great. I have some salve in my room that I have for healing injuries from Specialist training, that might help it a little bit?"
