GG: Sabrina Ellis solo (but backed up by 6 other musicians!), leaning into more personal material and musical theater tendencies. I love seeing this super talented artist continue to evolve.

GG: We saw Hans Pucket on the recommendation of The Beths (also from New Zealand, also on Carpark Records), and they were very charming.
AB: Nashville’s Snõõper play ear-destroying, hyper-speed punk rock infused with a lot of joy (and some weird samples). They wrapped up the set with only the second “guitarist plays while crowd surfing” I’ve ever seen.
GG: Terrible lighting at Half Step, but Indigo de Sousa’s live performance was even better than I expected. I wish she had had time to play more songs.
GG: Cheekface was super silly and fun, the frontman was a very good guitarist. Empire Control Room.
