She flopped down next to her with a grin, unhelpfully causing the mattress to bounce just a bit as she shifted closer to drop her head onto the younger’s shoulder. There was a level of comfort and ease that she felt with Seunghee that she rarely found with anyone else, so laying next to her, basically shirtless, was no big deal. “ What’d you pick while I was in there? “

Appreciative hums and vigorous nods later, Seunghee stepped a little closer. “And how do you know I didn’t secretly plan something for us tonight?”

Hearing Seunghee’s compliment, she took a look at the mirror hung above the couch, meeting her own reflection with a smile. “It is a really cute.. Why haven’t you featured in one of my videos yet?” Jenn turned to face her friend, raising a brow out of curiosity. “Well then do tell! Where are we going?”

Glancing up from the magazine perched across her lap as Seunghee stood to answer her phone, Uee shifted herself on the couch, settling into the cushions a bit more comfortably as her arms stretched ever so slightly above her head. She watched the younger female pace across the living room, and became acutely aware of the fact that she had no idea what the other was saying. Seunghee was speaking quickly, in what sounded like Japanese, which was a language that Uee had never fully gotten a grasp on. Her bottom lip poked out slightly as she attempted to concentrate on the other’s words, which sounded familiar, and she tried to string them together, fingers drumming quietly along the glossy pages spread across her thigh. “ Going out of town again? ” She guessed once the conversation was over, finding herself to be amused and impressed by one of her closest friend’s fluency. Seunghee had always proven to be talented in that area, and she sang her praises as the younger female sat down again, nudging their shoulder’s together. “ I think I need to take you up on those lessons. ”

As they began to make they way back, he noticed how she began to shiver. “Are you cold?” He asked, frowning. Without waiting for her response, he took off his jacket and draped it around her shoulders. “There you go, gotta keep you from freezing.” He smiled softly.
