SY AELLO* is a gorgeous 1921-built classic - one of the first ever chartered in Greece. SY Aello just finished a 26 month total rebuild and now, once again, blurs the border between dreams & reality. She really does evoke another age. Under her classic skin, she is equipped with every modern facility for her clients’ safety & comfort.
Her engaging, multi-national crew are seriously well versed in sailing a complex, gaff-rigged schooner of this vintage. Whilst her skipper, Toni’s, influence adds a laid-back atmosphere for a perfect combination. All crew members speak fluent English (if you can successfully crack jokes in a foreign language, you’ve got it) and judging by the discrete hospitality extended to me, she’ll make a perfect party boat.
