Where: Behind the Titan
When: a few days into Sybella’s acquisition of the property
Charlotte stood behind the little back door, foot tapping nervously. She had almost burst from how happy she was when she learned her little sister would be moving to Port Leiry as well. Unlike Charlotte, Sybella had no coven ties to the place and they had left when she was so young.
And she was so successful, a small smile creeping up the corners of Charlotte’s mouth. She would have been proud no matter what but Sybie was an undeniable sensation, and Charlotte was not surprised that the rest of the world could see it just as clearly as she could.
She had tried to hold on to every playbill that had come out over the years, had bookmarked all the reviews of Sybil’s college shows. But she hadn’t been allowed the phone after the first year though…and the playbills just never seemed to stay hidden.
Charlotte rocked back and forth on her heels as the straw bag she was carrying shifted between her hands. She hoped she hadn’t been an annoyance to her sister, she was just….so happy to have her here.
The door started to swing open and she beamed as Sybella’s eyes met her own. Charlotte extended the bag, a bag full of lemons she had bought at the farmer’s market to her sister. An old time tradition, a lemon for every curtain. “Hello Sybie,” she signed, “how was rehearsal?”
