♛: Sharing a dessert
"Cette idée est absolument stupide! It won’t work Thais. Besides he hate sweets.""Oh come on, if you made it then he’ll be willing to try it out anyways.""…You think?""C’est vrai! If he doesn’t take it, then smack it in his fucking face for all I care because he deserves it anyways for being such a stubborn dic—""Thais! Language!""Désolé.."
The princess and the wolf were in an unusual setting—Clearbrook’s kitchen, courtesy of Thais’ skills in getting what she wants, when she wants it. What exactly are they doing? Well, it all started with Thais approaching Sybella near Siraldan Lake and having a little chit chat of the princess’ current situation. After talking it out, the she-wolf decided that it would be best to have a different and more efficient down time with the girl by having a baking session. Not only that, she also insisted on Sybella on making Hunter a little ‘I’m sorry’ gift while they were at it. However, in all honesty Thais just wanted the both of them to get their minds off of whatever they were thinking about and put their time and effort into something more fun and productive.
Sybella wore a doubtful expression as she looks over at Thais who laid out ingredients and utensils for baking a cake. The she-wolf gave her a questioning look and the fae let out a sigh of defeat saying, “Il y a seulement un problème et s’il vous plaît, don’t get upset but I heard you can’t cook…” This made the wolf drop the baking pan with a loud bang causing Sybella to jump in her spot, “Dêsolé Thais, mais c’est ce que j’ai entendu!" Placing both hands on the counter, Thais wore a hurtful expression as she replies, "Ce n’est pas vrai Bella, I can definitely cook! I just…Don’t…Try. Okay? Besides even if I did suck, you’re here to outdo my wrongs n’est-ce pas?” The princess lets out a warm hearted laugh and places a hand over Thais’, “I’m sure you can prove those who doubted you wrong and I believe in you, so let’s start this shall we?”
They searched up a baking recipe then proceeded to follow it with a few messy shenanigans here and there all thanks to Thais. As time went by, the two finally finished up their cakes and as they sat down on their stools, exhausted from cleaning up, the she-wolf couldn’t help but grin triumphantly at their creations. “I can’t believe we fucking did it!” she exclaims in amazement. Sybella laughs as she nods in agreement, “I can’t either, they look delicious too! Great job Thais!” The wolf chuckles and points at her cake, “No! Great job to the both of us and I must say, I love your icing skills! I mean the way you did ‘I’m sorry’ in cursive is a skill mon amie.” She then hands the princess a fork and begins to eat the cake she made for the both of them.
"What do you think?" she asks as Sybella takes a bite. Thais could hear the fae's approval as she savours the dish, "C'est deélicieux non?" The fae nods in approval and as the two ate in siilence, she decided to speak up and thank the wolf for taking a turn on things. "Merci Thais! This was fun and different than moping around. I don't know if Hunter will like the cake, but I'll give it to him nevertheless." The werewolf scoffs in reply and rolls her eyes, "Just do it and like I said before; if anything smash the cake in his face, then make out with him—at least you'll get the best of both worlds." Sybella's facial expression drops as she hits the wolf on the arm, "Thais!" A laugh escapes her lips as she stares innocently at the fae and retorts back with, "What? I'm just saying, he won't be sourpuss, he'll be a sweet lil wolf y'know what I mean?"
Sybella's cheeks began to heat up as she packs her stuff up while shaking her head in the process. "Like I said, I'm only giving him the cake as token for forgiveness. Besides, you should do the same for my brother...I heard about that stunt he pulled et je sais que vous deux n'avez pas parlé since then." The fae got her good as she left the werewolf speechless with her mouth gaped open. "Ayez une bonne nuit Thais, I really encourage you to talk to Bash. He hasn't been the same since then and well, if you could me cheer up, then you could do the same thing for him. Essayez d'accord?" With that being said, the princess walks up, giving her a goodbye hug, before taking the cake and heading off to go see Hunter.
As she left Thais alone in the kitchen, she begins to stare at the half eaten cake and have an inner debate with herself. "Ah fuck it," she mutters as she slices a piece of the dessert and places it on a paper plate before covering it and heading out the door to go find the prince.
