While on a fact-finding mission to learn about dragons, he meets Sybil, a member of nobility who is friendly, charming and down-to-earth, despite being at least a foot taller than him. Sybil can see the good man behind the gruff exterior and thinks of Sam as a gallant hero. They were made for each other.
