It's a honor that my first review gets to be Apartment 3E by @sycamore17
If you're a multi-chapter enthusiast looking to see your favorite gaang in a modern setting, there's simply no better example out there.

I think that humor is one of the hardest aspects for a writer to nail in ffn, and Sycamore is a humor master. Some of my favorite pieces of Apartment 3E are when the humor from the show is captured, or when references to the person's original character in ATLA are made.
"I prefer to think of myself as nomadic" -Aang in his overly-optimistic manner, referring to living out of his car.
Modern A/Us have a tendency to soak up an author's world. What makes ATLA so challenging to put in a modern setting is retaining the character's essence while also having them text, drive cars, somehow explain Appa. The reason Sycamore is such a joy to read is because you can absolutely visualize the gaang in their version of the modern world. It's flawless.
It's like Friends-- complete with the drama, the romance, the humor. It's light-hearted and self-indulgent and it'll leave you feeling warm and fuzzy about the gaang. It's gives you the best "mmmmm new content" bingey feeling.
