“Hey, come on it will be fun. Besides I’m pretty sure Lysandre is busy, so your the only available.”
No, that wasn’t true but before Sycamore had even a chance to protest, Koko scooped he other man up and carried him off. Looks like he has no choice but to come.
“Oh Lys!“ Augustine chimes to him, nose deep in his work as he takes a quick glance to the taller male. A quick smile flashes his lips, tapping a pen beside him on his desk as he thinks for a moment. “You might be able to help me out here.. I am having a tough time remembering this Pokemon’s name…” He doesn’t know why, but he knows it’s on the tip of his tongue. “The Pokemon I’m trying to recall… it’s got long tentacles, two red dots on its head…” He ponders for a moment. Will Lysandre even know what he’s talking about?
Lysandre hummed in thought as he stepped to behind Sycamore’s chair, leaning over him and draping and arm around his shoulders.
“It could be tentacruel or tentacool you’re thinking about,” he said.
“Sorry professor, I don’t think I have any mega stone evolution material here. Though your welcome to play with the pokemon if you want.” there was a lot of pokemon, one could mistake him for a researcher of pokemon if you wanted to. but no he’s just a really good pokemon breeder.
“Hows Hoenne treating you though? Its a lot warmer than your own region.”

Though the young Lavaridge Gym Leader known as Flannery, had been training for only a few years to become the best Fire Type gym leader she could be,she still didn’t feel like she was meeting ends met. The finial straw was when she went into Mauville City to visit her good friend Watson, and overheard a few trainers talking about the ‘easy gym leader in Lavaridge’.
Trainer 1: “Hey man, did you hear. There’s this new gym leader in Lavaridge. She’s pretty hot..but maaan, is she dumb! I got the Heat badge no problem!”
Trainer 2: *Laughs* “For really?! Man, at this rate we’ll both find ourselves heading towards the League!”
Trainer 1: “I know right? Good thing, too. I don’t think I’d be able to fight Mr.Moore. I heard that he was in the elite four back in the day before he became a gym leader, then handed over to the hottie.”
Trainer 2: “Whoa..that’s scary..”
When Flannery heard this, it pretty much broke her. Was this REALLY how people saw her as a gym leader? Just the idea of being just a simple ‘easy’ gym leader almost made Flannery want to quit.
Back at her small home towards the back of the gym, Flannery looked for something..anything..to help her to keep going as a fire pokemon trainer. Her Torkoal slowly walked up to her with a small smile, then turned his towards the coffee table. Flannery rose a thin red brow at what her pokemon was looking at.
It was a new magazine from Kalos and all the different new fashion trends. Though, as she picked it up and flipped through a few pages, Flannery found an article from the professor from that region talking about the amazing new discoveries he’s made lately.
The article sucked Flannery in so much that she didn’t even notice how she smiled and her ruby eyes lit up with fiery passion to learn more. Maybe this professor could help her and the pokemon she held so dear become stronger with this ‘Mega’ Evolution?
It was that night, that Flannery packed up and wrote a note on the Lavaridge door. ‘Closed Until Further Notice. -Flannery,Gym Leader of Lavaridge’
She had only a small bag with her and all over her pokemon with her. Which really wasn’t a lot. Just Torkoal,Slugma,Macargo,Growlithe,Ninetails,Houndoom, and Camerupt. Each one of them had a sentimental story and memory with Flannery. And to leave any one of them out of the new adventure would be just cruel.
That morning, Flannery found herself going through customs and on a plane to Kalos! Once she was out of the airport, Flannery picked up a map. As everything looked all sorts of confusing to her at first.
Though, just standing there alone..Flannery was starting to feel uneasy. So she called out two of her pokemon to keep her company. “Growlithe, Houndoom come on out!” Both dog like pokemon were excited to be out. And oddly enough her normally rebellious Growlithe was actually behaving by staying by her side.
Flannery petted the top of their heads. “Thanks guys, you two are the best.” She smiled, now feeling worlds better. Knelling down to the eye level of her two pokemon so they saw what she did on the map,Flannery did what she could to find where the Professor’s lab was. But with how everything was labeled, sadly..Flannery was having a hard time reading it. She let out a long sigh and looked for a cafe.
Maybe there, she could at the very least treat her pokemon to something to eat.
Eventually, Flannery and her other two pokemon found themselves at a cafe in Lumiose City called, ‘ Café Triste’. The smell of different sweets and coffee filled the air. It made the fire trainer smile and sigh happily.
She then took a seat after taking off her bag and ordered a drink and food for her pokemon. Hoping that after a small snack she’d have better luck.

“So this is the Kalos region. Such a strange..... beauty.”
Out onto the streets of Lumios City stood Zinnia, still a little bit jet-lagged. Off in the distance stood the landmark of the city, Lumios Tower. The streets are busting with the hustle and bustle of everyday city life, pokemon scurrying about, the smell of poffins and various other sweets wafting the noses of passersby.
“Well, now it’s time to find this Professor’s laboratory. you have any idea Aster?”
“Whiss Murmurrr” Replied Aster. Takeing a few steps away from Zinnia’s legs, Aster takes a few smaller steps down a street. Just a few seconds after stopping, Aster runs back to Zinnia pointing down the same street.
“Well, I guess we will try that way! Hmmm... South Boulevard? Well, time to see what we can get from this weirdo!”
‘ sorry, i’m a... i’m a bit jet-lagged. ‘ and very happy to be on solid ground once more. getting from oblivia to kalos was practically impossible to do by sea-- which she much preferred to flying-- forcing her to face her fears. she couldn’t tell if it was better that she’d taken a plane over a staraptor. ‘ i don’t even know what the time change is. ‘
Gladion set the cup of coffee down as he looks at the professor calmly, examining him for a moment as he seemingly considered his words for a minute.
“Now that I think about it... I’m also horrendously stubborn.”
A quick amendment is made to his previous statement as he takes another sip of his coffee, amusement flickering in his eyes as he continues to regard the professor.
