But now, with the help of heels, Gunner’s neck was practically cricking so that he could look Syd in the eye, “I think I’d have to stand on a chair to be as tall as you right now. Ready to leave the cafe after buying his third coffee in what was probably far too short of a time, Teddy hesitated when he noticed Syd sitting on her own in the back. He was surprised he hadn’t noticed her before - one of Teddy’s favourite things to do was drown Syd in his sugar sweet faux niceties. “Syd!” he called to her, all the way from the other side of the cafe, making his way over to her in a matter of seconds, “Missed you at the party. You don’t even look that tired or anything. Whatcha get up to? Keep it PG?” @syd-belcourt​
