Okay, well what happened to Sydney was a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Basically thats when the heart suddenly, unexpectedly stops beating, usually people die from it within minutes if it isnt treated, and by die I mean perminantly die, but luckily for Sydney she was with someone who knew what they were doing and she was saved. SCA has multiple things that contribute to it, but we think it may have been Coronary Heart Disease. CHD is the most common heart disease and its caused by smoking, high levels of certain fats and cholesterol in the blood, high blood pressure, high levels of sugar in the blood due to insulin resistance or diabetes or blood vessel inflammation. We believe that she may have gotten it from smoking and high blood pressure.
